Necrotic and inspiring as AFFIXES seem to be gone in DF

How do you heal when you need to run? How am i generating holy power? I need to be in there to do my healing things. Not running away. And those spites are not a 2 second thing. They actually stay up for quite a long time.

Resto shaman/druid and priest ROFL :joy::rofl:

How do you tank if you get nearly one shotted.
How do you DPS if you actually get one shotted.
How can you cast anything if you get one shotted.

i think you missed the point. usually you are quite reasonable. This is plain trolling.

Not rlly.
Spitefull impacts everyone equally except ranged players.
But every mechanic in this game impacts melee harder then ranged.
That’s the fun part about bieing melee :man_shrugging: .
Also you can call ranged braindead :wheelchair:

You can live the pull without some less dps. You are not living when your healer can not do his job. The tank is not a target of spites.

If you say so.
I’d say, playstyle changes depending the affix and that’s nice.
Use your CCs and AOEs and the shades are instantly a null-factor and even become a padding simulator.

Thundering however…
Yeah…

They need to make sure that paladins have the option to spec range build/spend in the tree! But i guess every class should have their weakness and strength.

Or: The questions we should ask us selves: do melee healers ever have any advantage? If not, maybe they should design weeks that are better for them?

I played hpala for 2.5 seasons (and alted on mistweaver) in shadowlands. I know what i talk about. If you want to ignore the role of the healer, then go happily playing without a healer. Spites are terrible for melee healers. I would even say they should never be a spites target.

That’s basicly WoD Hpally.
Standing from afar spamming heals, basicly Holy Priest without AOE effects :man_shrugging:.
Booooooring.

I played hpally from WoD into SL S1 :man_shrugging: .
It’s not about “ignoring”.
Hpally was broken beyond reason in S1, despite Spiteful existing.

But I mean for some special encounters yes! If we want the class to be able to do well in all aspects.
Better to have the option imo!

While being probably the worst healer of all though  It was all about damage. You took a balance druid for healing. pridefull was not healable on pala.

Yeah so…
You take a healer that heals nothing, you get even “ruined” by spiteful as you say.
Yet it was still taken everywhere.

I mean, you just did not play in spite-weeks. You just did lowkey alt stuff.

You used to not play Disc priest in Bursting weeks.
You used to not play DK in Necrotic weeks.

Destro WL/Frost Mage does barely any dmg in Sanguine weeks aswell.

They all have a downside, that’s the fun part about it.
That’s the uniqueness off affixes.

Thundering however is the 3th annoying and deadly anti-melee affix

Yeah, and that does not make it a good situation either. there should not be unplayable weeks.

“Unplayable” =/= Difficult.
Everything is clearable on +15s etc for max vault rewards.

DK’s run Necrotic weeks now, eventhough they counter everything a DK is made for.
Disc priest just sucks in SL so let’s ignore that  .

I remain at my standpoint, use cc’s and the Spiteful shade’s don’t exist if you don’t run under their feet.

This is a fair point.

Still in my game i am just not playing in spite weeks on my pala and monk. Too punishing.

If you’d main it and still needed some gear, let’s say at the start off a season.
You will and should, no way you’re skipping a vault :man_shrugging:.

Nah, i can deal with a week without.
