You were trying to justify rolling on transmog as if it has the same importance as rolling because you actually need.
This was before they introduced the no need roll on tier sets if you already have a better tier.

If you’re implying that disagreeing with blizzard is a sign that I’m wrong, remember you’re arguing against group loot, a system they put in place.

Anyone with a brain realizes what you actually want.
You wanna need roll on items you don’t need because you’re a loot goblin. Just so you know, no one likes this kind of stuff. And it’s definitely a good thing that blizzard decided to restrict need rolls at least a bit more.
You can try to make a clearly false argument with the use of sophistry, but everyone with a brain realizes why it’s rude, looked down upon, and frankly annoying , when you need roll on an item you don’t actually need, and i were to catch you doing that into my group i would insta kick you. And so should everyone.
But you can try to convince yourself that you’re right.
And I really dislike people who feel entitled to loot that resulted from group effort. Make a group with master loot and say you’ll assign items based on how big an upgrade you calculated it to be.
See who joins your group then.
Or better yet, just go and solo the bosses yourself.
I don’t know why it is that hard to understand but you’re not the one to decide who needs which loot.
But loot goblins love to track which loot went who.
Lfr has always and forever will be a complete free for all when it comes to loot. Remove the option to not roll on lesser ilv things and lfr basically dies over night. I still do raz lfr every week in an attempt to get mount skin and i will always roll need on tmog in said runs.
Transmog should be a need roll because you need that transmog and this is why you are there spending your time to kill that boss.
And everyone remembers yours, but not for the reasons you’d like.
