I’ve solo’ed Thorghast on 2 classes already . from layer 1-6 on multiple wings. I enjoy it . Only on the last layer is it starting to get hard enough that i could possibly fail.
You just need to gear up and take it a bit slower. And or strange your strategy to what anima powers you pick.

164 ilvl here. Still no way to SOLO clear after layer 3. I was trying 2 specs Assa and Sub.
1st - Sentinels, they reduce ur haste by 25%, it does mean that you will not regenerate any energy (i have 18% atm so -25% haste, my total haste on the floor is -3% kekw)… so yeah…kinda…try to kill the guy with 80k hp only with auto-attack and 2 eviscerate or envenom in 1 min. Its just literally unplayable.
2nd - very very very bad desing with powers. Not a single power that will buff you with tons of damage…mage with arcane spec oneshots everything, and i can only dot it to the ground…but 1st of all i need to kill damn sentinel to let myself regenerate energy. Only 1 sertain buff that allows you to do damage(buffs Vendetta+Adr rush+Sh blades) is an epic … Rest are total garbage that buffs vanish??? really vanish??? It does reset combat state and health btw…
3rd - amount of damage that you recieve does not scale at all, if i pull an elite on my prot war it hits me for 4k. If i pull same elite on the rogue it also hits me for 4k.
4th - amount of trash on the layer does not scale aswell, on my warr i spent over 20+minutes to clear whole layer 2. On the rogue to clear layer 2 i spend 2.5hours, due to pulls, if i pull 3 mobs at the same time - i will die.
I would never go there AT ANY POINT, if not the Soul Ash for leggos…
to the OP the solution as it was said before get a tank, preferably Prot Pally…yeah ma man im aswell sit around 1 hour waiting untill i find a tank…so theres no other way… only bad desing…

Layers 1-5: “lol so ez, time for boss”
Layer 6: Either the boss is TOO easy due to RNG powers picked or I say goodbye to an hour wasted
Solo me in Torg as a Healer:
Layers 1-5: Literally pulling entire rooms no biggie
Layer 6: What boss? just another add…

I disagree, it’s a L2P issue.
I’m loving Torghast. Never had such fun for a long time on WoW. I haven’t tried it solo - I play it with a friend. I think doing a run solo might be tedious.
It’s not. Torghast is an absolute disaster.
i wish it was a l2p issue. i would accept defeat when it is based on me doing the wrong thing. when defeat is based on rng and me losing to the last boss because it just stacks the buff faster than i can dps its healthpool it feels like crap fast
especially when everything before was boring, no challenge and just took time because the healthpools on mobs got bigger.

Well then.
So for once a class that has through the majority of the games lifespan had a relatively easy time in most of the games content, is now presented with something where it is not the ideal choice.
Whatever will we do?

If it’s not a complete roadblock but just hard it’s working as intended imo.
I dunno so far my experience as a rogue is - if I get zero powers (which just happened - as in no vial reduction, no kyrian, no ar/vendetta/blades, no evasion on hook/fient, basically sod all), I can get close but I die to the boss.
If I get a set of the above, dps literally goes up by a factor of 5 and I destroy the boss. The RNG is a joke.
The only epic one I had was hook, the rest were mostly greys or vanish crap that is useless solo, but meh, its like 30 soul ash I don’t have I guess
Maybe I should just try it as sub or actually do more m+ and make an outlaw legendary.
