New Blizzard Promotion: Invite Inactive Friends to WoW for Free Faction Change Reward

Manages to keep you here considering its such a wreck

It’s a lot of suffering but still a lot of stuff I haven’t seen which I want to see.
As someone who is trying to unlock Allied races right now it’s only pain and suffering.
Not because you have to quest a lot, but the fact that Blizzard completely destroyed that quest experience. You start with a story line, do some stuff, and find an npc that sends you somewhere. Suddenly you are in a completely different quest chain that spoils the whole story and you end up with 4 open quest chains where you already know how they end.
Meanwhile you don’t even have progressed to the ā€œUnlockā€, because you took a wrong turn and have to use addons and your achievement window to reconstruct what you missed at what position.

And those inconsistencies are all over WoW right now. From 1 to 60. None of the mechanics is logical, you have to find internet guides, which most are outdated, to even get the most basic information.

Why would I want to bring a friend into this? I’m not a sadist.

Politics was and is never out of games. That’s a wrong statement and always was. Games are as political as everything else in society.

You responded to the guy that said it. I quoted the last reply.

Yes but show me were i said about politics please do as i said nothing about it so i ask you to refrain from talking rubbish about my post.

They did it by choice because some American companies found a payment method for Russians and continued their business in Russia
when America considers your country an enemy, you won’t be able to pay for your subscription either :man_shrugging:

Well that’s against US sanctions then which Blizzard must abide by law.
If others have found a loop-hole it must be a risky one.

OK, why is America still buying uranium from Russia? is it different?

I am talking about WoW and Blizzard and debating sanctions .

You talked about lack of wow players and the reason and i pointed out it is flawed if you want to discuss about other things none wow related i suggest you find another forum.

Wrong what? I have indicated the exact reason for the outflow of players.

You said blizzard did it by choice which they did not anyways i am placing you on mute as you are waffling about things nothing to do with the OPs post thus derailing it.

when there is nothing to answer , they are placed in the mutе

Or simply a way to stop derailing further.

I do wonder what basis they are mailing these out on. I’m in the UK, and had nothing so far to invite friends back.

Yes, even the most introverted of people have a few friends here and there.

That being said, it’s impossible to find anyone to play the game let alone 5 people at that. I only play because I like the simplicity of things like transmog farming and role playing, and exploring. That’s about it

It’s the achievement and collection systems that brought me over from ffxiv.

Not really interested in any ā€œendgameā€ stuff.

I wonder what makes you qualify as a ā€˜select’ player?

Same. Although I do get jealous cause some raids have some nice transmogs that I can’t get cause I can’t remember any mechanics.

I will say one thing FF14 lacks is diversity among the races, specifically there is no trolls and trolls are like my favorite race and lore.

Roleplay in FF just feels weird to me personally. Especially with how the chat functions. Like there is no chat box above the characters.

That being said I do enjoy both games and I tend to play both whenever I can.
