Outside of desperate times, they have never announced nor hinted at any content in the next expact while the current is still within it’s first year.
They said “Azshara will play the role of Gul’Dan from Legion”.
So, I highly doubt there wouldn’t be a 8.3 especially as we’re already 2 raids short of Legion.
Since this post is about NEW Heritage sets, you must assume it’s about the “core” races.
It was never stated that is was new (core not allied race armour), that was why I covered both bases.

next blizzcon is most likely november 2019 wich means that they pretty much have to do it this year, keep in mind that if they do not announce this year then we will need a 8.4 for enough content until blizzcon 2020 and the year we will have to wait after the announcement.
with 8.2 being on the ptr and most likely being released end of summer it whould be perfect timing for a exspansion announcement.

Ofc … there are armours which are suitable for Draenei even now e.g. from the Aldor. But none of the “sets” have higher details.

The expacts have never been announced in the first year, which we are currently in.
After the first year is when they’re announced.
Because next Blizzcon is coming in the 2nd year of the expact we will get details on 8.3 along with details on the next expact.
Are you understanding now? 8.3 has to exist because 8.2 / 8.2.5 cannot keep us entertained an entire year.

Or they can give details on 8.3 on Gamescom during summer. By this time 8.2 should be live and 8.2.5 should be on PTR. Alternatively they can just put Ion or Feasel in front of a camera and stream the slide show on twitch. They don’t havee to talk about the patch at all during Blizzcon. Why would they if there’s a whole new expansion to talk about.

I think from the slideshow that Blizz presented, the tauren heritage set will be locked behind the war campaign.
I hope we get a robe/tunic and pants version for all the heritage armor.
The nightborne heritage armor does not even clip well and it needs another variant cause it looks so bad on melee classes
I even think that they have more patches for BfA…
If Azshara is the Gul‘dan of this expansion that means that we gonna face Black empire in 8.3 , later patch or as a whole new Expansion.
That really only makes sense for the Belves, Velves and Nborne.
All others Dwarves x2, Gnome, Tauren x2, Maghar, ect.
Dwarves, Maghar and LF Drae are all warriors and soldiers, dresses seem quite ill fitting for who are more often than not in melee range.
Tauren have primal, tribal get ups which appear more ceremonial than combat orientated, relating more to their shamanistic roots.
Gnomes are all about tactical, so dresses would again seem odd for them.
Customisation is good, but only when it makes sense.
Yes , and I see that it makes sense heavily on Nightbornes.
I really cant wait to see what the art team has for future sets so far the ones we have now are breathtaking in my opinion

It all goes down to the design of the armour. I’d say that LF Draenei could have robe option as well because of their mages/battle priests - anchorites etc, but the armour they have is just not suitable to have this option (it looks great though).
They will most probably show the teaser trailer for next expansion in the next blizcon
How about heritage weapons? They had models for Nightborne show up on wowhead
