New store mount: $90 Brutosaur

its a thread about how people have different perspectives, based up on their own wealth or lack off, as to what constitutes expensive

we’re talking about alternate products that fall into the same category

Breaking news : not everyone played BfA.
I will try to investigate why, back to you when I get more info.

We’ll let a moderator decide that, I think.

to be fair - anyone who enjoys mobile phone games know that if game is fun to you its absolutely worth to spend like 20-30 euro on those basic starters packs - like the bonuses for first month , auto collecting resource robots , some first chars with stars etc etc

i get that a lot of people dont have fun in there but they are little dopamine releasing mini machines  and some are genuinly fun to play if you liek that type of games.

and lets face it - i ordered some food today by uber eats instead of cooking - for lunch for 2 i spent like 30+ euro . and some people order liek every other day . some people smoke , some people drink gin - some buy virtual goodies.

Do they also pay a monthly subscription?

Depends on the game I guess. But people seem to spend more if it doesn’t have a monthly sub.

grass

ok.

given bethesda is own by the same company…

i hope they bring out brutosaur armour for it at £20 a pop

Didn’t need the Bruto one back then, don’t need this one either.

I’ll wager we’ll get a Porsche collab before. There’s good money in those collabs.

When’s that mountain dew crap happening also?

In a non, manipulative predatory world this mount would cost the same as the Bear mount they just released. It’s basically serving the same purpose, accessing things outside of towns.

The fact they starved people of AH access on purpose, then released this at this price time gating it, preying on FOMO.

It’s incredibly manipulative, and guess what, I’ll probably still buy it. They’re geniuses. You can picture the meetings they had discussing this exact item.

Shaddup And Take Mah Money!

It also has that limited-time availability, just to sweeten the FOMO. :face_vomiting:

Is this desperation? Or greed? 90 dollars holy hell

$68.7 billion deal.
Decreasing game popularity.
Poor game industry performances.
Risk of more lay-offs.

I’d say there’s some short-term goals driving this, with a sprinkle of desperation to it.

This might very well be the final straw for me.

90 dollars is very cheap compared to the old one that was 400/500eu back then
