Night elf heritage armor not happening?

Oh look, the Covenant mogs for Shadowlands are all robeless :joy:

And all but one set looks like plate.

At least for now, but I have an extremely strong doubt it will change. They seem to think plate pant sets are the default apperance everyone can wear.

The one on the panel? They’re all the plate mogs. There’ll be ones for cloth, leather, and mail too. They just haven’t shown those yet.
You’ve only seen the plate ones, which, in my opinion, should be without robes…because they’re plate, so it makes sense.

I’ve not seen any confirmation that these are actual plate sets. Where did you find that? (I might have been blind).

I will guarantee you though, that the leather set will be pants, and pants only. I’ll trade you 10k gold ingame if I’m wrong, and actually able to trade some way…?(sorry, I’m not rich, so 10k would have to do!).

The guy on the stage said it 10 minutes ago. :yum:

Well the night elves recently received the set from the Darkshore warfront + some weapons which were made totally in their style. Some other races didn’t got anything in this expansion.

That explains why I haven’t seen it yet.

We’ll see what comes out. With 4 Covenants and 4 armor types, that’s inevitably 16 different transmog sets. Hopefully at least one of them has a robe. :yum:

The leather set wasn’t particulary flattering or nightelven, except from being purple, in my honest opinion, so can’t really say I got a set at all. The cloth set was perfect though, and the mail one was good. The plate one I don’t remember.

I can still only wear a leather set though, and they actually do add a robe, you can be sure it will be conflicting with what covenant I should be picking. I’d take a robe over power though, just because it pisses me off so heavily.

I got that cloth set, but it just doesn’t fit well for the draenei, but I can imagine that it looks nice on the night elf priests and maybe some other classes.

It looks amazing on a nightelf female. It also looks like the perfect nighelf druid set, because of the moon and the feathers, but apparently I’m not fit to use it…

From what they shared, it doesn’t seem as if the power ↔ preference choice will be too much of a conflict of interest, because the abilities don’t seem that “power driven”.
So go for the transmog you want I say, if that’s your preference.

But again, we’ll see what it all looks like as more stuff gets revealed. So far we’ve seen 4 transmogs, and mostly they seem to hint at the overall theme (hey, there’s some goth vampire stuff, some whiteknight stuff, some hippie-nature, and so on).

You are one of the rare druids that I know which prefer the design of the cloth dresses over the kilts

Yeah, but assuming it’s gonna take a while for the other sets to be revealed/done. I still wanna trade you gold if I’m wong about not getting a leather robe though. I seriously have no faith what so ever anymore, and I am extremely salty about it. Which I guess you figured already…

This is my old char, in one of the best sets for the druids in my POV which suits perfectly fine for the NE, maybe it would be nice if the Blizzard would made a redesign of it just like it made of some T6 armors back in the Legion.

Actually, I really enjoy the kilts too. I am actually wearing one in my current mog. They just don’t seem to make those anymore for any armor type, so I just stopped typing it.

I agree. I really love that set.

And I am not stopping you! :kissing_heart:

I am not entirely sure how to trade cross realm though? Battletag? Or doesn’t that work either? You’ll need to start a char on ED/Terenas I guess :joy:

Oh well, let’s see where this is heading in the end.

The blood elf players got seriously lucky with their heritage armor, only they could choose the pieces with it, and with that match the set well depending on are they playing the melee or the caster classes in the game. I wish that all other races received the same treatment when it comes to the heritage armor as them.
