I said gameplay (and gameplay design. Hence me saying design) for a reason. The artsyle is obviously heavily inspired by Pokemon but the gameplay itself is practically ark. Its ark with a pokemon skin more or less. Steam discussion board is also still memeing on it.

I agree, there is a vast difference between intellectual property and those that steal it and profit from it, and patenting a basic mechanic present in a huge number of games.
