No m+ invites!

So games are supposed to give you anxiety and keep you on the edge instead of relaxing and having fun with them? That’s a weird perspective you have on games.

you are a healer. try that as dps.

Monk life is annoying for sure.

But a guy at similar gear as me that i met in HC raid had like 2300 score and completed a +11 as highest.

So there is hope.

You gotta just keep trying.

I am having no luck tho, same as you

My monk alt yesterday was struggling to enter +4 with 606 and already 3-4 completed overall

Feels like it’s either the community that became extremely careful as to who they invite or too much overgeared people are applying for an easy difficulty (for them) due to the gearing issue.

At the end of the day, the only real solution is to enter M+ communities/guilds to remove that blocker.

This is why M+ (with anything other than a full group of friends) is my least favorite PvE activity

i did some m+ this week on my aug to get some score rolling

if you seen how people in liek 610-615 gear perform in those you would know why nobody woudl even look at 606.

its the dvelve problem - free gear was giving to literlay everyone so the entry point to +2 is atm 610+ .

and even those groups mostly fail

its all about lottery - you join group and hope its pumpers group - if its not ? dont waste even 1 minute in such group - leave and go again - like 60-70 % of groups are completly incapable of clearing +4 atm - nothign changed from day 1 of season

its just not a m+ season for casual players.

im 609 ilvl and 2.2k raiting just pugging, and im playing resto druid

The only thing they “destroyed” was M+ being a loot pinnata and nothing more.
The game’s pop can easily be divided into many groups:

Raiders
M+ runners
PvP players
Players who raid and m+ run
Players who PvP+raid/m+

And then we get a group of players who will just go “where its easiest to get the shinnies”. Early SL there was a severe loot shortage and gearing up via PvP actually become a thing.
What do you think happened?
Predictable. PvP suddently became very “popular” and do you think it was because people suddenly decided how much they love PvP?

Well the “free gear vendor” m+ has closed its shop and the these wanderers will have to once more adapt and find the best place to farm shinnies. If they cannot or refuse to adapt then they will leave.

No, because for keys at that level there are a dozen other DPSes signing up with well over 2k rating.

You’re just one of the plenty, just realise that.

Indeed, the craziest part is I find good groups most of the time. It’s just that I should bother more to grind my keys from now on as it seems to be faster.

For example, my war is hard stuck right now at 1k7 because I can’t find groups for +6 and up as Arms warrior. Dps is good, ilvl is ok for this level but indeed I fight against 620s and better utility classes, the only way to get my KSH this season will be to guild grind…

It’s definitely not casual friendly and that’s concerning, at the end of the day it’s only M+. One of the most casual friendly option after delves…

I think the problem is stronger this week with the current weekly event.

+2-+7 used to be casual friendly. Now, +2s feel more difficult than +8s because of not doing what needs to be done in the +2. It’s not that casual friendly anymore.

627 players with 2500+ score are still farming heroic trinkets+random items and obviously people will prefer them over you.

Indeed, my last Necrotic Wake showed it. Nobody took spears except me. Could be due to the gap between HC and M+. You roll on everything in HC, not bothering on the encounter, and then you fail in M+ because you don’t know what to do…

my personal biased opinion

+4 feels like old +20 in pugs regarding how punishing every single mechanic is

numericaly its ok - but because of how punishing every single mistake is its just huge gate for majority of pugs due to how big coordination everything requires.

spears arent even the biggest problem there.

what i seen is the same i seen in SL . nothign changed

so before first boss nobody stuns the fluid drain - people pull multiple packs with those who do fluid drain and then make surprised pikachu face when suddnly everyone but tank is dead.

1st boss - people fail non stop and target the boss puke at group wiping group
2nd boss - people dont soothe enrage on boss , range dont interupt casters to clump mobs together and its unnesesary hard
3rd boss - people keep failing hook - 1 failed kooh = you can as well wipe and go again - if you run out of spears / bl ? dungoen is undobale in pugs.

its the same as in SL only now you do not have the correct weapons - like not having goliath on first boss is making this whole fight a slog . same like spears not doing dmg and not instant killing first abo on rd boss.

I’m not sure why anyone would think you need mythic raiding gear to do keys. My guild only just ventured into mythic raid this week for the first time and we’ve all been doing keys.

Now that is not to say that different people play at different levels and everyone can find their comfort zone and then push from there.

Honestly, just join a community. It’s been a blast ever since I joined one - I get to do keys as dps and I don’t have to play meta spec…

Also met some super cool guys on there, once I was just doing 7-8’s on my 602ilvl warlock, some we timed, soem we didn’t… But at the end we were just chilling and having fun. They could’ve easily kicked me and found a “better dps”

Has nothing to do with ww monks. I am the living example.
You simply run content way higher than you are ready for.

Or return it to the appropriate difficult where people actually enjoyed doing it :open_mouth:

I would invite you, but i will admit i would probably prioritize certain classes.
