How unreasonable can you be to even dare ask for such thing ? You should be ashamed of yourself.
Do you really think a mere barber could do something as important as changing your name, your very identity ? That’s a core RPG element which will directly harm the frame of the game !
While the barber exists to change character options in case you made a mistake, it was restrained to realistic actions a barber could perform, such as cutting your hairs, changing their color or offering a gender swap operation.
Anything else such as changing earings or names would be a truly outlandish claim and completely ridiculous.

After viewing this video I just want Blizzard to make a quest chain about the players being barbers with jokes about those things in the video, just like they did with the mailman in Legion.
It could start slowly for example something like
“I want a haircut”
“But sir, you are bald”
“And the haircut will make it grow”
And from there it could be escalating over those weird non-barber changes the barbers must make possible.

They may reduce the cost. I know some will not want to pay at all but hopefully if it’s a minor cost it wont be as bad.
