Casual stands for; not engaging in gaming that you need to plan in your calendar. LFR is available for all those whom can’t sit Wednesday 7-23 and Sunday 7-23. Why exclude all those from a mount that most of the playerbase have asked for?
Just reward the players that stayed thru the worst expansion in WoW history a mount. Give people a break!

Here’s the thing…
I’m absolutely in favour of certain in game rewards being gated behind difficulty, be it gear, cosmetics, mounts or titles.
That said, season 4 was advertised as a fun little experiment to keep players engaged until 10.0 is ready. So what is there to keep us LFR scrubs engaged now? Why even have fated LFR?
They could have avoided all of this by communicating from the start that only normal difficulty and above would be included in the achievement.
More and more I get the feeling that season 4 is being put together by 2 unpaid interns working in a broom cupboard… Lack of communication, recycled content, official info drops being hurriedly thrown together in a couple of hours formed from twitter comments…

makeing game more casual or new player frendly is only way to make new players comes and play the game the players who left never comes back … also adding new in to old content area to reuse old area is alweys a good idea …

Great guess It’s either miss the raids entirely or buy a boost. I don’t have 270+ ilvl chars , my highest is 250 ilvl and players only pick the highest ilvl with the highest rio scores and the highest everything
So that’s the end of S4 for me.

I did talk about casual gaming when it comes raid environment. And for most players does my “made up” definition apply. That’s my experience at least!
But casual can mean many things, since the word is highly subjective!

Will be so easy finding a PUG that takes you if you haven’t done a single raid and have just gear from ZM, super easy!! Others will love to have you in their group.
Gonna watch the prices for boosts and hope they won’t be too high so I can pay it with the gold I made during SL, because I certainly won’t buy a token

Yes same here. And it is stupid to require people to get a guild this late in a x-pac where most of the guild’s has fallen apart, and furthermore this season is much short then usually!

I was on the fence about if I was going to bother doing all 3 LFR, since I only know Castle.
Now there is no choice to make, I can just stay in Classic.

They pay for the game and are as much entitled to the game as anyone else.
Stupid question imo!
It would make more sense to do a event with one boss ( say jailer). Kill event jailer (with some cool affix) in LFR and get the mount. To kill 36 fated bosses for a mount makes no sense, even less when the season is short and experimental!
It feels like blizzard is actively trying to kill this game!

Um no it doesnt, quite litterally doesnt.
Casual raiders exist, its quite litterally a catagory for raiding guilds, its simply solo players them seem to refuse to aknowledge this.
Casual in the mmorpg genre has never had a real set meaning alike what you proclaim.
Except what your asking for would actually kill the game.
Go visit gw2, go see why its dying. Spoiler, its because the company implemented such asks. Amazingly, game dies much faster when you kill the playerbase actively using premade group and raid features.
Because the moment premade group features die it sends a message far quicker to players, as its one of the few ways to estimate the livelyhood of the game as theres no direct answer.
Players will leave a game if they fhink its low pop traditionally shown by many dying mmorpgs and generally leads to larger problems down the rabbit hole.
When yoy kill the motivation to do premade content as WoW is designed to motivate, you discourge the participation of the content entirely.
Because the moment the easiest content offers the reward everything above it dies, hence why lfr got so popular in legion, because tier set bonus and legendaries were farmable through it.
And amazingly legendaries were forseen as one of the worst additions to legion to a high enough degree they started selling them on the vendor by the end of rhe expansion.
Catering to the lowest forms of content kills mmorpgs. Because the moment yoy remove rhe mmo from the game you reliese theres a thousand rpgs which do it betrer then wow due to its cuts in rpg immersion for the player side of the game.

To be fair I’m a bloody king in LFR, I can literally play with one hand while watching a stream on my second monitor and still top the the dps meter.
