A pity. I could live without the cat. Probably they think ppl that normslly dont raid will waste hours pugging 3 raids just to have the cat?
Enjoy your raiding and have fun.
If this is the basis for the future exp for the ppl not enjoyin this content will ba hard.
That logic is on par with giving a kid icecream for breakfast lunch and supper. The playerbase don’t know what the hell they want and they don’t know what makes a good game.
Except in this case you’re equating “the playerbase” with “people that agree with my take”. The rest aren’t “the playerbase” somehow.
Well, that’s perfectly fine, but I fail to see why everything needs to be dumbed down beyond belief in order for the game to be considered good, if anything, WoW gets worse the more it tries to cater to everyone.
Obviously doesn’t people feel that way! Go and look in the 1000+ comment thread at NA forum. Look at the numbers of subscribers in SL. This game has failed hard. Just face the fact!
They need to communicate with their players. Just like at the 500 mount achievement mount, they didn’t understand that people would be upset about a freaking standard Yeti. Do you not comprehend the fact that blizzard is out of touch with their playerbase yet?
I never once registered that thought because I didn’t believe a mode such as LFR should reward anything more than a bit of gear that’s on par with world quests.
Yet it is the only data we have available to draw a conclusion. So until blizzard show us prof that our data is invalid. Is it the best way for us to make up our minds!
You don’t have to “believe” anything, you had to read that Blizzard achievements said: “any difficulty”.
Only in the post today they specify that it’s Normal.
One quarter of the posts in that thread have come from 2 people.
Drawing conclusions on such flawed data is laughable.
People generally don’t complain when they are satisfied. Should we conclude that because the other million odd people aren’t complaining they are happy and that the 50 people posting in that thread are a tiny, tiny vocal minority?
Blizzard themselves consider LFR one of the available difficulties though:
While a raid is Fated, it will only be available in Fated difficulty, but the other two raids will still be available that week in their non-Fated difficulty.
LFR can be Fated, as such it has a Fated difficulty.
