No Turbo Boost for Casuals. WHY Blizzard?

It was a confirmed bug? Can you provide a source for that?

Because from what I remember the 2nd Season TWW Turbo Boost originally we didnt get credit from LFR. Then they hotfixed to include LFR.

So what should I accept and why should I move on? Because you said so? :stuck_out_tongue:

All I want is an explanation from blizzard, really, don’t think that’s too much to ask for, is it?

Already answered it:

You are misremembering. The bug was that even though the quest text said “Normal or higher”, you could earn credit for LFR kills, and was changed to “any difficulty” week 2. The question is which part was the actual bug, was the quest text wrong or was it intended to be NM or higher but they forgot to turn it off for LFR.

Again, you are linking the quest post fix. Original text was “NM or higher”. The whole outrage back then was that casials would be excluded, because they saw the datamine. Once it live the text was the same, but thw outrage died down due to LFR actually giving quest progress, quest text was changed week 2 to reflect what was acrually happening.

I’ve stayed out of this thread, but here’s the thing, Tah - last night I stepped out of my comfort zone and done the first 4 bosses on Normal. It was quicker than the 4xM0 and certainly easier, just had to find the right group. I get that you are probably being too stubborn for your own good, but give it a go and you might even enjoy it. Apart from the fact that several people have offered to take you through M0/+2 with no pressure on you to perform like A RWF player

I’ve accepted that the Turbo Boost event isn’t for me anymore.
I’m not going to step out of my comfort zone, because that’s not what gaming is about for me. Gaming should be someone’s comfort zone, imo.

Doesn’t mean that I approve of Blizzard’s decision to change this event though.

I’ve admitted as much myself last week.
I accept my fate. But I still think Blizzard is wrong for excluding LFR.

yeah im sure casuals unsub because they cannot get bis hero trinekts in lfr

well you can blame only yourself for that not blizzard that you openly refuse to do endgame content which is aviable for you in game

Well, there were people saying they’re quitting over this.
So apparently those people do exist.
Even if only 2 people quit over this decision; then my statement is still right and it’s costing them players.

Yes and no.
I can TOTALLY blame them for including every raid difficulty, with the exception of one.
That’s just silly and weird and unwarranted, honestly.

Being ‘forced to participate in content you don’t like’ to be able to partake in an event that previously DID allow you to partake through content you do, is disappointing. And stupid. Yeah, that’s it… Blizzard is stupid.

But sure, I could yield and do the content they want me to do. I could.
I won’t. So as I said: I accept my fate in this case.
It’s my choice; but that doesn’t mean Blizzard isn’t stupid for making this decision.
Because they are. Very very stupid.

I’ve honestly tried to sympathise with you throughout this entire thread - I even admire your stubbornness. Even Amonet and Uda have offered you a chance to get those chips with them and you turned it down- get Heramaar in that group, and i would join it too (if you will, and i would want to see your name in there before I join). I honestly give up, and for the first time ever, I agree with Lillith….

I admitted it’s on me for not wanting to even do a M0.
I’m not asking for a solution anymore; I’ve accepted it.
So please don’t feel as if I’m still complaining that I can’t get Cartel Chips; I’m not.

I’m just sharing my opinion that I think Blizzard is stupid for making the decision to change the Turbo Boost requirements.

based opinion

In case it wasn’t mentioned as a delver you get a new currency in the key chest where you can buy now hero tracked trinkets(before the turbo boost it was champion track trinkets only) from the vendor inside that delves who’s chilling in the treasure room. Any of them decent by any chance?

The 2 minute on use is the strongest 2 minute on use in the game for a lot of specs, the only reason it’s not BIS is it can’t be myth track.

Far as I could tell it’s the exact same trinkets as before. Why they keep them locked on a T9 vendor is beyond me though. Completely useless for alts that can’t clear that level

Trinkets before were champion tracked, these are hero tracked so slightly better itemlevel. Upgraded some of them back then for crest acm, can’t tell what/which of them has any decent use aoe or single target fights, i just clear 8x11 with pvp gear for vault/flickering portals.

Since op is writing of the “casual” with lfr mark perspective it seems he aint a fan of normal/hc pugging so delves would be the next best thing and therefore his casual turbo boost. Wasn’t a thing last season so i like that they at least did something like that, not leaving non-raiders out

In case anyone is boomy and also just using trinkets from that vendor lemme know which of them is better than pvp trinkets for encounters like nexusprincess kyzea.

if someone cant be bothered to kill 4 bosses on normal - they clealry dont want or need bis hero trinekt in first place anyway.

which is ok seeing how you literaly can get full mythci raid mogs by just doing lol easy dvelves.

which is a good thing - because only transmogs matter anymore anyway with how each single season is compelte total gear reset.

Yes, but the exact same trinket, so wether

or not is a matter of if they were decent on champion track. If they sucked then they won’t be any better, just higher ilvl.
Personally I haven’t looked at them, bc I already have hero track trinkets that I like, and the alts this would be useful for can’t clear t9 delves, so no point (for me) to worry about it further.

I do agree with OP that it should be accessible through LFR, but since I really, really don’t enjoy the raid I’m not complaining I won’t have to do it. I’ll go back and grind the rep when I can solo the thing - if WoW lives that long.

If you can get past the “which shadow is the real one” phase, she’s just an endurance fight - she hits like a wet noodle

Normal mode is done faster than the LFR. Let me tell you that.

You make a group. Invite the first 30 people that show up. And that’s about it.

The ONLY reason you take longer is because Normal Mode LFG dosent TP you directly in-front of the boss.

But the raid? You wait less time forming a group than waiting for the LFR to pop. And you dont need to talk to anyone as well. Just dissable chat and that’s it.
