For granting items to accounts on a large scale they’re now using Commodorer 64s.
Why is it that seasonal and anniversary gifts go out to every single player at the same time? Just how complicated is tagging all Shadowlands accounts with this item?
It’s so silly it makes me contemplate conspiracy theories like experimenting with the haves and have-nots psychology of players, and/or making players wait for things-- I mean we seem to be increasingly waiting longer for less of everything.
I mean if most players are jealously seeing others with the mount, knowing they have to wait some indeterminate time for theirs-- such things really are a good thing to observe from the cold business eye.
I think this theory is rather improbable, but not impossible. Still, it’s fun to consider.
Although…if it changes colours depending upon the season, then…what happens when it goes to Quel’thalas, it’s eternal Spring there… rubs chin in thought

And the Shadowlands…? I mean the place where souls from all over the multiverse arrives … have seasons? (okay its a miracle we have air in the realm of dead so the living could… live)
Revendreth will never experience the summer… the realm was created by Denathrious and I’m not sure he felt the need to add spring or anything to his realm of eternal night…
Ouchy… my head hurt, again tried to find logic… my mistake…
I got it last night around 22:00 ish, UK and I’m on the 6 month sub. This morning my other half has a ‘you have a new item in your collection’ message bubble but nothing is there. She isn’t on the 6 month sub. For me it seemed to appear as soon as I moved the char I was on at the time to Oribos. Maybe we’re meant to go to Oribos for it and I just didn’t read anything on that.
The requirement was owning Shadowlands not game time, in case there was any confusion. People without game time can still see their mount if they use a character below level 20
However the mount is being rolled out over a few days. Your mount tab will light up when yours arrives and you should see a boxed gift at the top of your mounts tab then.
I played wow since the beginning, before that wc3. I just saw the making-of video of the Wandering Ancient and been running through the world on this new mount the past day now. The love that was put into this mount shines through, so from the bottom of my little warcraft lovin heart, thank you so much!
