Hi! On the Argent Dawn roleplay server, which still maintains a very active community to this day, we have a number of pinned topics at the top of the forum. The number of pins stands out more, and takes more space, after the latest forum update.
At least two of these pinned topics have grown pretty outdated over time. The first topic is ‘Important? Building a better AD’ with the last edit dating to summer 2020. Since then, most* of the community discords featured in the post no longer exist, and neither is the Twitter/X account featured in the post active anymore. To my knowledge, the poster no longer plays the game, and the thread is locked. This might paint a more scarce image of the roleplay activity on the server than is true, especially given there are plenty of other thriving Discord servers related to Argent Dawn roleplay today that are not listed.
The second topic is ‘Calendar: Upcoming Events’ which was last edited in March 2019, and the latest comment in the thread is from July 2024. It’s clearly not much used by the community anymore, and brings up the question if it warrants a pin at the top.
There’s no appropriate report category to flag pinned posts for review. How should one reach out to have the realm forum pins reviewed?

Thank you for the elaboration - I see I’m not the only one wondering about the pinned posts. The thread you posted seems to have never received a reply from Customer Service.

we no longer see so many threads on the realm forum about the kinds of behaviour that the post was aimed at 5 years ago

I don’t think the thread is as helpful to the community as it might’ve once been.
To specify which ones don’t work and probably no longer exist:
General AD Chat: not working Gnomes: not working Draenei Blood Elves: not working Goblins: works, but only has 16 members while there’s a newer Goblin Discord with +160 members Khaz Modan: not working Elune Worshippers: not working Trolls Orcs: not working Forsaken
Which leaves only 3 out of 10 that might still see some decent activity today, and even those cater for a pretty niche audience.
Hello! Following the thread about redundant pinned topics (thank you again for cleaning up the threads), a new topic was made to help people without connections get quickly up to speed how and where to find roleplay and communities on the Argent Dawn server. There’s so much useful content created our community that I wanted to create a central post to easily find helpful roleplay resources.
Argent Dawn remains a very active server, however we lack a centralized post to help people lacking connections find all the important avenues and tools that the roleplay community has adopted for organizing and advertising roleplay. It’s intended to help people regardless of what niche of roleplay they’re interested in.
It has received many upvotes in the short time it’s been up already, and the comments suggest people find it helpful. I’m also committed to keeping it up to date. Thank you for your consideration!

Hello! Getting back on this, would it be possible for a forum moderator to check and pin the above Compendium thread on the AD realm forum please? The reception to it has been positive overall.
The Wyrmrest Accord on the US has a similar thread pinned on their realm forum (link). It’d be great for our EU server to have a similar pinned compendium to help both new and returning players find useful community resources. Especially with the next expansion reveal and housing coming soon
I’ve reordered the Compendium post a bit from the POV of information that a newcomer might first look for, and added some more info to help them and returning players.
The thread contains information not present in the other pinned topics, so hopefully you can give it a review soon, and please let me know if anything should be amended!
