Big thanks to League of Modimus for collaboration on this event! This time we have fewer, but still good Screenshots from it.
I also bid three of our dear, newest recruits welcome: Chesley, Tarkas and Valorick!
The Third is always looking for more capable and eager soldiers whom wish to protect the Kingdom of Stormwind and fight for it! Or come to say hi whenever you found us online!
And this post shall end with Lotharâs battlecry:
Absolutely awesome late night roleplay with some Defias sneak-in to the valiant Stormwind Sentry camp. Lovely roleplay had, suspicions towards the traveling merchants, separated for questioning and a fine chase at the end.
But.
The Stormwind Sentries will never forget. For the Defias did not assail their honour. They did not attack their camp. They did not threaten their families.
The Third knew theyâll have a deployment, it was time for serious battles rather than usual chasings or finings in Stormwind. Dryden himself told them of the deployment and that theyâll have Trolls to fight in Stranglethorn. Thus, training sessions were in order. Duels, and then team fights between Team Swofford and Team Lothar. And obviously the team with the name of Lion of Azeroth, Anduin Lothar, would win!
Next step was Horseback riding training session and race, in a long way in Elwynn. Even footmen must prepare for Cavarly charges.
After days of training, Sunday night was the time. They lined up, ready to march for battle. After a short speech by Sister, or rather, Sentry Nelly Doran, the Cleric among the company, they marched for Westbrook Garrison, and mounted up. After passing the border of Duskwood to Stranglethorn, there was a surprise for them: Undead Dire Troll. Nasty, giant monsters they are! But, as simple as these footmen seemed to be, they were more than prepared. The Troll, like the days of Gurubashi War, got crushed, and way continued to Fort Livingston. It was a confusing night for them to see many groups with different intentions in Stranglethorn. Who knows what lies ahead next!
Thus, weâve marched for Northern Stranglethorn, Fort Livingston! Taking part in the big campaign ahead!
Answer the call of Kingdom of Stormwind now, for Lothar!
It was more than four decades ago when the Gurubashi War occured, when the Soldiers of Stormwind shown bravery against forces of Zanânon whom even killed their King. They fought besides Llane, Medivh and Anduin Lothar that dayâŚ
This Deployment wasnât without the memory of those Heroes. The Sons and Daughters of Anduin Lothar himself, the Lions, marched towards Stranglethorn. They faced many things. Besides the Undead Trolls they were meant to fight, they also faced the Loyalists of Windrunner, remants of the Defias Brotherhood, as well as the Hordeâs annoyance. Yet, Lotharâs legacy never wavers. In all of those fights, Soldiers of Stormwind shown exceptional bravery alongside their allies, fought with honour and together, they seen to what they came for: VICTORY
Even the Dire Trolls were no match for them, and in the end, the Kingâs Cudgel crushed the Trolls in Stranglethorn, and returned home with news of glory, knowing they succeeded in protecting their lands.
Weâre back in Stormwind now after the amazing campaign of Relics and Ritual. Like always weâre still recruiting brave souls to fight in Wrynnâs name and protect his majestyâs lands. Find us in Barracks Embassy, come and say hi!
It wasnât too long ago when the men of the Third, while hosting a Sermon, noticed the Defiasâ cogs on the former Queenâs memorial. Rage and anger is what a true patriot may feel upon seeing this.
But the hour to enact that revenge came. Alongside the finest of Kul Tiras, brave marines of the Island, the Third were notified of some Pirates whom were dealing with Defias remants. Marines surely hated pirates, as Footmen of Stormwind hated Defias. Thus, they marched for Westfall, for where once the Grand Architect of Stormwind once was: Alexton Farmstead.
The Third and the Echo Company of marines worked together well enough, just as during the War. Though, as much as they were Bandits and Pirates, they were indeed a challenge for the soldiers of Kingdoms. The fight was bloody, much injury came, blood spilled on the soil of Westfall. In the end, the dealing between the outlaws was done and they fled. Victorious were the soldiers? Perhaps so, but suffered they had, and time needed for recovery.
Big thanks to Kul Tiran Marine, Defias and Copper Street Solutions for this heated and special event fight in Westfall!
If you want to partake in such cool events⌠Join the Sentry, now. Weâre always recruiting more able bodied men and women to protect the Kingdom of Stormwind.
The Brave Footmen of the Third, and the seasoned Marines of Echo Company had once again met each other, lined up and rallied. Sergeant Seabridge, having the experience of recently putting down riots in Boralus and Tol dagor, had instructed both his marines and Drydenâs guards on ways, techniques, acts and theories related how a riot is to be controlled. Surprisingly, they even had a visitor, Justicar Alestheria E. Lionsworn, one of the High command had came to watch the process in person. The Marines and the Guards may or may have not known what lies ahead of them tomorrow, yet prepared they were, for whatever comes, for glory of mainland and island!
Thanks to our friends in Kul Tiran Marine once again for a nice event!
Come join us, we have something special to attend soon⌠Yes, the Kingâs finest themselves shall deal with it.
Stormwind, a long standing Kingdom, fell once in First War to savage Horde. After rebuilding, many it had housed, not just humans from other Kingdoms, but refugees of all races within the Alliance, especially Kaldorei and Worgen.
The Third does their best to protect them, even when they may be reminded of their pain and perhaps, rightful demands by the scheming enemies of the Crown, from bandits to zealous, disgraceful Crusaders of Scarlet. They are not killers, yet they are protectors.
Earlier, orders and information were given to Dryden by Justicar Lionsworn, so he knew what is to come. Yet, Allianceâs strength is in itâs unity, and such was brought. Alongside Marines of Island and honest Mercenaries, a whole riot was handled, and Stormwind once again proven to be strong, enduring and ever radiant, and no one can break itâs iron will⌠not again.
Honestly impressed by how absolutely amazing these guys looked yesterday and how well they handled it all. Felt really immersive. I can only aspire to such a powerful vibe.
It was the time, after all the success the Third had. In the City and handling incidents, in Stranglethorn and putting down the Trolls, as well as the recent riot in Stormwind. They did much, they succeeded. It was time for Promotion! Nelly Doran became Chief Medic, Malric and Baldwin became full time Soldiers, and last but not least, OâToole and Swofford became Corporals of the Third!
A feast awaited them in the Barracks, a great pat on the back it was besides knowing that their pay will increase as well-- But it didnât last, for news of robbery came to them, Westfall once again awaited themâŚ
The kitted up, marching there. First, they saw some Forsaken, one of which they managed to catch and speak with⌠Demonic magic? Aiding Defias? WHAT? Nothing good was heard at all. Though, the true challenge awaited them in Moonbrook, where they faced Redmasks of VanCleef, fighting them, a lengthy battle it was. Guns fired, a horse rampart, rocks thrown⌠And then, the Third had to retreat to the Alliance military encampment above the town. After healing, they returned⌠Celebrations canât last long, for the true dutiful lions of Stormwind.
