Thank god I ended up getting both Ashes of Alāar and Invincible during Shadowlands of all things, and Invincible only because I was getting Shadowmourne.

If I were a multigazillion money corpo I would simply find a way to keep my experienced employees in their jobs and not crater morale every 8-12 months with rounds of layoffs.

Or something utterly useless that we must be beholden too.
I mean Iād think that keeping the experienced people would mean a steady increase in efficency and productivity over time, possibly even build a shock culture around such that would ultimately keep profitiablity and success up and continousā¦ but we need to think about the immediate short, never the long term.

Iām so Tiredā¢. Upper management are trying to throw me into the āVoluntoldā pool for some Stupid, Bloody Pointless thing or other, when I already have holiday booked (for a wedding, and for my Mums birthday, both of which are like 8-10 hours drive down South) AND so I can transport some of my partners packed stuff up for when they hopefully move up here in September.
AND Iām still battling the āWell, youāre Healthy again-ā

Edit: I finished work and got home by about 2pm, then I spent hours assembling the mobile island unit I got for my pokey kitchen, and I still only got halfway and need to make all the drawers/shelves etc to put in it.
Then had to dash out to get some shopping, otherwise Iād have no breakfast.
Now itās 9.20 and Iāve got maybe an hour to do stuff, and Iāve no energy or motivation. Iāve done NONE of the TW I wanted to do to get the rest of the new BFA bits/level my new character. Done none of the new event things.
Iām tired/exhausted/Fatigued and fed up and I want the world to be a better place and for a lot of Certain People to not be here when I wake up.
Alas, we live in the Worst Timelineā¦
ā¦ Ok, doomer/fatalist moment vented. The horrors persist, and so will we.

Itās absolutely terrible, but the worst? Not by a long shot.
Cat went to open his mouth to mrow at me so I touched his nose and the circuits in his brain malfunctioned and just sat there with his mouth open for a full minute.

Reading up on the layoffs and MS hit Blizzard somewhat hard. Whole social media teams basically been dismantled too. its never getting better
