Pet peeves: The return (Part 13)

Assuming that Pratchett books don’t count as adult (which…eh, probably not) the first non-mandatory ‘grown up’ book I read was Nabokov’s Lolita.

Happy to say that even as stupid teenager I still understood it better than Rowling does (low bar to clear, I know)

I dunno about first non mandatory adult book, but I hold The Wyrm by Stephen Laws (I think?) in high regards.

one day my partner’s bullying to get me to read Harrow the Ninth will succeed

i know i will like it, but also aaaa reading aaaaaaaaa

I have no idea what she’s said about that book but given she likely thinks doctor who is about how mean and nasty the doctor is to the poor defenceless dalaks, I’d imagine the bars so low it’s buried.

I am The Awakened. My ascension is at hand! Bear witness to the expanse of my miiind!

Oh right, it’s just the manic phase of insomnia again.

I read all volumes of Shogun when i was 13 and somehow I did not become enamored with anime. Maybe it was like a vaccine.

So delves have gravestones now?
detailing where and when people have died and on what level it was.

Yeah. I think it’s neat.

You sometime see ghosts too.

Didn’t know about the spookies.

but I have already seen one of the forum posters, not gonna say who, gravestone, it wasn’t far into the delve either.

:dracthyr_tea: shameful display.

I would like to wake up one day this week without having a headache… This is usually foreshadowing of a migraine to come.

Stop reminding me that I may want to buy the Infinite and the Divine simply for funny old man content.

A friend’s druid keeps following me around as a ghost bear
I feel judged
(I only died once to a bug though)

I water you like a plant
This may not help with the pain
but it’s too warm so here you go

I saw Dodger’s character on a delve

He made it, we danced at the treasure room, it was great

I’ve managed to die in a bunch of very stupid ways in delves so far on the basis of - by the end of last season I could reliably pull the entire room and AoE it down but now I can’t and my lizard brain hasn’t caught up.

You should just do Delves with me.

I thought they were adding Rexxar as a delve companion?
