Pet peeves: The return (Part 2)

Ah, that sucks, sorry to hear.

Oh god, i have downloaded customisation mods for DoS2.

Time to make a Red Princess of my own!

I didn’t get the Azata Mythic Path in WoTR because I messed up one choice.

Seethes in silence.

My peeve.

Now that WoW is in crisis, all the things that players have asked for YEARS will be done in a couple of months for a minor patch, and it doesn’t even cost us a raid tier.

Kinda annoyed by how easy all of this was.

Don’t speak too soon.

That’s what guts me as well. They knew. All along, they knew. Yet this is the absolute low-point the game and company have to fall to in order for them to put in the effort.

I can’t believe me submitting suggestions and whatnot to make Legion Paragon mounts purchasable/tradeable have gotten no traction and no amount of crises Blizzard is facing will get them done.

What must I do, Ion!!!

What are you prepared to give in return?

not everything lmao im not a filthy d*mon hunt*r

don’t talk ill of your noble brothers and sisters like that

Expose an actual plot to assassinate the president of the US within Blizzard entertainment, then maybe they’ll scramble to make up the goodwill.

They’ve gotten complacent. When you think yourself to be the Rockstar who can’t fail a record…

A part of me also wants to say that, we Wow players, seriously accepted trash content and levels of communication for far too long. It took a 2 mediocre expansions, a lawsuit, poor content, poor systems or an excess of it alongside content drought for people to just… Leave. The Wow players seriously have low standards and I wouldn’t even call them high to begin with if they stuck through WoD and MoP.

People were plenty saying about the changes and improvements that could make the game better but we were just not listened. Idk if it’s the execs who kicked the dev teams butts or the good devs whose voices are now getting through the red-tapping or maybe just no longer being shielded by JAB and this false reality they created for themselves.

If this can carry on through the next expansion that has no BS and releases as much content as Legion, they will regain a bit of status.

man i don’t care for the rest but i sure as hell won’t stand for MoP slander like that

it was PEAK

MoP was the last expac with soul tbh.

I was mostly talking on a general sense on how the players felt back then.

I played MoP, I loved all of it. Half my roster are Pandaren, I wouldn’t personally slander beloved times.

Randomly getting anxiety over frying an egg. Can I please adult in peace, brain?

Also this is how it works for all major gaming companies (yes, even the one you like). They keep easy stuff that the community really wants for hard times and then go pspspspsps.
Blizzard is just really, really, really, really obvious about it.

I think that’s valid. It wasn’t until later that people kept harking back to MoP as some sort of ‘Golden Age’. The sort of age most of said people slated and raged about at the time, I wager.
My only peeve with MoP was the one I have every time on new cap characters going into new expac content; it’s always ‘balanced’ around Raid gear, meaning if you never raided you’re under-geared and thus getting beaten up by [Your level+1] Weedy Goblin Siege Engineers as a melee DPS.
Which is the antithesis of Fun, might I add.

I’m finding the continued rigidity of race/species in WoW kinda frustrating. An overhaul is super unlikely, given a bunch of factors, but I’d sure love to see it regardless;

Alliance

Humans: Eastern Kingdoms (pick from current build and the thin build) + Kul Tirans (same)
Dwarves: Upper Reaches (Bronzebeard and Wildhammer) + Dark Iron
Elves: Kaldorei or Quel’dorei
Gnomes: Gnomeregan + Mechagon
Draenei: Exodar + Broken
Worgen: Gilnean + Ancient (druids of the scythe/elves)
Pandaren

Horde

Orcs: Old Horde + Mag’har
Trolls: Tribal + Zandalari
Tauren: Mulgore/Highmountain + Taunka
Elves: Sin’dorei + Shal’dorei
Outcasts: Goblins + Vulpera
Undead: Forsaken + Resurrected (non-humans maybe?)
Pandaren

Lightforged and Velves would just get merged into unBroken and Quel’dorei as options, because that’s basically what they are/should have been, IMO.

I’m sure most folks will disagree, but that’s my hill to die on :stuck_out_tongue: Customisation like it’s the right decade, baby!
