Still very impressed Heavensward, even after clearing it months ago. I wasnāt expecting a proper expansion lead-in like that. WoW conditioned me to expect some NPC to say āhey player, something really really big happened (see: cinematic) so you should likeā¦ come to Ishgard and like deal with that pronto. 'Kay? 'Kay, see you there.ā
At this point Iām just waiting for my WoW sub to drop off. Havenāt played for months anyway and my six months is expiring soon. Checked my battle.net and it was pretty sad. A whole lot of ālast online 5+ months ago.ā
Also, itās awesome I can play FFXIV on console. I can hit maximum comfy levels and fish from bed.

On my third run as an Aeon whoāll turn Devil eventually. Iāll do a last one as Trickster and take a gander at the secret ending.
Triggers still arenāt always working or doing what was intended but itās nothing thatās really breaks it all.
Iād be happy to do the other routes when the DLCs drop but until then, itās been fun. Except the Crusade fights, I autoresolve that stuff but I have to reload several times every now and then to get the win.
Expect it from all FF expacs.
Its a story so it has to flow like one, hence why they focus on setting up the next expac.

Yeah i am quite a huge fan of the last 2 patches (and frankly a ton before them but those 2 the most overtly) patches before a new expansion being 100% setup and lead-in.

Iāve cleared the MSQ and now Iām experimenting with all the classes I find interesting. Donāt mess with a lalafell with a gun!
Iāve also finished all the pixie dailies. That was adorable and my scholar glamor is fae themed now. I only wish I could make my fairy look like Feo Ul. I know the summoned fairy is a different kind, but itād be nice. Especially since Eos and Selene really show their age graphically.
I hated healing in WoW, but I really enjoy it in FFXIV. Very interested to try out Sage.
I really want to get used to doing this. Would increase my playtime exponentially.
