Why does my threads of fate quest tracker have a horde icon as alliance? Could it be because much content is made with one faction as standard and then edited to accomodate the other?

I donāt think itās too difficult to deal with halbs tbh, sometimes your palas are just tanky enough (franks, teutonsā¦) or you can easily make a counter (throwing axemen have same attack techs, hand cannons only require one research) etc etc
ditto, really civ dependent too, with poles you could just decimate whatever with obuchs for example but othertimes youāll just need lots of siege or what have you
I donāt really have any issue facing eagles usually because I usually play cav civs and the switch into champions is made pretty easily and cheaply

I guess thatās why I love Incas (but also Aztecs with Jaguars eat champions), Slingers decimate even the Goth spam. In that FFA BF game, I was getting pressured from all sides and I guess the Goth player just set a waypoint in my base, which the Slingers I managed to make kept eating them up.
Yeah, but early imp where you donāt have a lot of trade going and your eco is weaker, throwing away Palas is a little wasteful that can lead to a huge snowball into defeat. I had +4 relic Lith Palas and couldnāt hold vs halb+archer that well, granted it was 1v2 thoughā¦
Itās even worse as I know who tends to do these strats more and I still canāt kill fast enough. I think I just need to be more aggressive with Siege Ram civs so they canāt mass cannon galleons fast enough.

Thalyssra is basically the star quarterback who got thrust into the position of leader after previously being in charge of a maximum of like 5 people, and tried to lead a rebellion against someone who has time powers
her being a politically naive but competent leader is a big compliment
yeah these are really good, canāt say Iāve ever really had any issues with slingers (but have also barely seen them) - I think itās also particularly easy because the switch to champions still means you have decent cavalry upgraded as well which can go after the champion counters, gold intensive though of course
sometimes, it depends mostly on how many halbs/pikes there are I guess. I mostly play 1v1s and those halbs end up being a response to my cavalry rather than the big game plan from the others so usually thereās not that many of them yet and I can kind of keep the mass of them in check while another batch of paladins raid the economy - mixing in scorpions and the likes is often a pretty good option as well (that I keep on forgetting aboutā¦)
but what will you do against my kamayuk phalanx, which do well vs champions anyway, and I donāt even really need to tech into anything to make Slingers!
