I know I’m like 1000 posts late, but I still don’t get how do they expect to RP sin’dorei in Stormwind without even attempting to do the “but I’m just a high elf bro, leave me be” trick. It’d likely even work since they do share some eye colours now.

I’ve seen cases (in fanart, not in Stormwind, I do not approach belves in Stormwind) where the character was “I’m a blood elf but I know the true meaning of loyalty! And this is why I fight for our allies (who tried to kill my people a couple of times)!”
Just… A big lack of awareness on the setting.

This big gimp in FF14 told a bunch of scantily clad women to approach my character, upon which the game proceeded to zoom in on their breasts repeatedly while it played cartoon “arooga” sound effects accompanied by women moaning.

Why are japanese devs like this? Why is this game like this?

Person 1: One of my players wants to raise a baby wyvern, but doesn’t want to steal an egg because their character is lawful good. Any ideas on how they could acquire one?
Person 2: What if they killed the parent and then took the egg? At that point it’s legitimate salvage.

My party picked up some gryphon eggs (their parents attacked first), protected them from a dragon that tried to take them and then very wisely gave the hatchlings to someone who is staying out of the adventuring business to keep them safe
