So good to be back on RPR, miss it.

Now for a completely different game peeve; why the hell is it considered a bad deed to kill the Magister that ASKS you to kill him in DoS2? You know, the one inside the armoury under where you rescue Gareth?

He says it himself that he’s going to have a painful death otherwise and he asks you to kill him, but if you do, it counts towards the villain tag!

I do this too, especially on Tactician Mode where you need ALL THE EXP YOU CAN GET.

EDIT: Also, its my policy to kill magisters regardless, just really weird.

Also let it be known that all girl puppies looking like She-Ra in her family are going to be as Miss Behaving as she is. (She-Ra’s mother had puppies again and the female that is her colouration is just as naughty as she is)

Takeaway so far from Demon Souls (PS5 version):

  • Heck, this game is pretty.
  • Even though I’m still as bad at parrying as ever (the window always seems off) it doesn’t seem to be quite as punishing as some Souls variants, at least so far.
  • Boy howdy they like Dragons in this one.
  • I’m still trying to work out which is the best/most fun style to go for; so far Knight start has been pretty good, but maybe something NOT fat rolling? Hrmn. Shame they haven’t hotfixed in a ‘delete single character’ option for saves, else this is going to bloat fast…
