Had a frustrating Cruise Chaser fight because the DPS refused to do mechanics at all. Did it, eventually, but was much harder than it should have been.

I get being new to a fight, I get it being first time
but some people just seemingly don’t try to learn and want to be carried.

Also: people who don’t release+run after a wipe and want to be ressed. That keeps your ress debuff! Just release and take the shortcut!

More pertinently, the more complex the job is to start with, the later you actually unlock it.

Sage might seem daunting, but it’s unlocked so late that you will already have experience with the game by the time you get your hands on it, which means that all the abilities will be much easier and clearer to put into context right from the get go.

That said, yeah, for reaper and sage they really drill it into your head that ‘this positional thing actually means something’, but I always found the tooltips clear enough.

That’s the thing, the White Hat who discovered the exploit went straight to Fromsoft with it and they did nothing.

He then used it on a streamer to make people aware of it and Bandai Namco stepped in (not From)
