Campaign with a co-op ally is so nice, you don’t realise how good it is until a sudden enemy attack that would’ve forced a restart instead rolls into your ally’s tanks
I love it so much, thank you
I downloaded 20 GB of WoW updates with VPN on, by mistake.
(It’s fine, it’s a homebrew VPN on a VPS. But oops.)
Never touched it
Fantastic, thank you!
So having food made with powder from the carolina reaper pepper is NOT the most pleasent surprise. Like a bit of warning would’ve been nice.
Peeve: People who meme too much in RP or follow their own sole fun even if it is immersion breaking to others.
… Go play it immediately.
Ugh. Hate it.
Same as people who make everything a joke. I can’t get into things when they’re around, it sucks out the atmosphere and just stops my enjoyment of proceedings.
I’m like 90% with you, but the remaining 10% is a tiny shrine in my heart built to Toriell, an old, old memer who was endearing enough to almost get away with it
hi ;>
Now that’s a name that dusts off the neurons.
C&C3 has a special place in my heart, because some of the NOD’s turrets scratched my kid self’s brain really well. Something about those infantry shredders or w/e just felt so satisfying. And I also really liked Scrin. I know most of the boomers prefer to say the C&C franchise ended with C&C2, but hey, I’m not one of those!
Though, maybe I am, because Red Alert franchise ended for me with 2. Peeved how 3 is the favourite for some people, when 2 is the greatest Red Alert game there is!
(Command and Conquer: Renegade has not been talked enough for how good of a game it was. Seeing the obelisks in first person was just a really cool ‘oh crap’ moment that only World of Warcraft has done similar things wrt being in third person of a setting from another game…)
The Marvel quip was a huge mistake thats infested almost all meda, roleplay included.
Not everything needs a memey oneliner.
Sometimes I feel like a grouchy boomer because I’ve become increasingly intolerant of comedic and jokey characters the more time has passed because I just feel like I’ve not really seen many RPers over the years who were aware of when the correct time tonally to drop a comedic bar was.
While I’m a deranged memelord OOC, when it comes to my roleplay I almost completely agree. I’m not one for silly in-character antics unless it’s very infrequent or just perfectly timed.
The funnier moments ive had in roleplay have often been sudden or accidental. Like a friend saying something stupid but sincere that just makes everyone laugh.
Precisely. Like I can actually appreciate comedy themes in RP at times, but that’s quite different from breaking established themes of RP and Warcraft for the (un)funny.
There are some who do it well whom I associate with comedy stuff, including that one. And of course my favourite clown too.
You tell them old friend, you tell them!
What’s the latest version of Skyrim, Special Edition? That’s the version I have so wanna make sure Todd hasn’t made a new one while my back was turned.
I think the one with the fishing mod as dlc and some daedra quest line.
There is anniversary but apparently it bricked a bunch of mods, been a while since I played my third fave game of all time so not sure if they’re fixed.
With this I also emerge from my hole, Savage in FFXIV this tier is super fun (only 1 boss down, several friends are at 4) and I began watching “what we do in the shadows” so my life is going somewhere
