In seriousness though, it was initially used as a way to showcase women in a very male dominated industry and working role. As of 2024, it is widely used as a mix of memes, mockery by some, and as the intended original use.
The person credited for coining the modern term has asked for it to stop being used though unironically due to how its been used to promote misogyny instead.

It’s attention seeking honestly. From Trolls making idiotic shakespear jokes during what’s meant to be a solumn affair to sith in swtor deciding to be vampires for this session and reviving everyone with a silly quip, iccidently not only killing the scene but also any further RP fallout from it.
People really need to learn ‘if in doubt, don’t’ and go from there.
