Satelight, the anime studio behind Symphogear and Macross, is doing the Red Ranger isekai anime.
And based off of that, I started reading a few chapters of the manga last night, and unfortunately I have to confirm it is - at least for now - quite funny. Putting a hotblooded Red Ranger into generic fantasy isekai world might be a joke that runs its course quickly but it got some laughs for now.
They adjusted the speed limit of a neighbouring street to 20kmh
They also paved it differently (more space overall)
And are planning to putting in some trees on the side (much needed as the town has lost a lot of the trees in the centre over the years)
Someone already managed to bump into one of the barriers marking where the trees will go⌠I swear people drive like their cars have the turning circle of a lorry from the 60s.
Joko? JUST JOKO?! I think you mean Joko the magnanimous. Joko the magnificent. Joko the TRANSCENDANT! Joko the Immortal Scourge of Vabbi! Joko the heart-throb!
this message brought to you by the mordant crescent. praise joko.
sadly fully agree. lore, world design, art team and music team gave one of the best MMO settings out there.
but good god the combat and world scaling.
I legit stood up and walked out of a whole campaign when a DM pulled this move. I can tolerate missing, and I sometimes have fun giving my PC a dramatic permadeath, but railroading is where I end friendships. How did you handle it? With more grace than I, or less?
