Yeah make it so !
Petitions are against the rules fyi.
Where are TBC era servers? Why you do this to us Blizz? What’s next, straightforward jump to Cata? No thanks.
A single tbc era server wouldn’t be bad. While I think it would see less play than Classic, one wouldn’t hurt.
Cant wait to play classic Pandaren Death Knight. I bet Dragonflight Kids didnt even see this great era
It is useless. Those servers wont even come to live till everyone farms Arthas till sickness. Not to mention wotlk finally gave bi on paladins and dk full representation
Yeah no thanks. Classic era wasnt a succes aswell while the majority cried for era servers. Where were they?
I rather have them invest the time into stable servers etc for the future
Besides… we would have then:
Classic wow era
Classic wow som
Classic tbc era
Classic wotlk
Retail.
5 versions lol.
I would love to see one server dedicated to tbc whether as season of mastery or just as a regular server.
Yes! this is the way it should be, Seasonal servers (SoM and so on) are just this, seasonal. They will come and go, the backbone should be Era servers for each of the Classic expansions. In two years add Wrath Classic Era to this list.
Why not? If some think it’s fun, they should be allowed to play as they like.
On the one hand, I wish they would keep archived realms for each classic level, and even a rolling system where they make a new set of realms for classic, that after 1-2 years will roll over to BC at which point they make some new classic realms and so on. Also with the old option of merging your character to a fixed realm that stays on that xpac.
However, what I know about this is… Not enough people will play. Look at SoM and classic era. Both have VERY low player numbers. But even if a handful play they will need to support each level.
So, while on an ideal level I’d like to see it. I also understand fully Blizzard’s side on this in regards of supporting multiple versions of the game at once.
Seperating the player base even more if u go on like this. Something that goes against the pillars of foundation in wow i guess👀.
I’m very much not a fan of forcing people to do something to keep numbers high. If there was enough support for BC era, I don’t think locking people to wrath would be a good solution. Besides, all you really need for any expansion is enough active players to fill one realm (ideally 2, one pve and one pvp but that’s another story). Any more doesn’t add or remove from the enjoyment.
But ultimately, I have doubts whether there would be enough to fill one BC era realm and definitely not worth the support Blizzard would need to provide.
If it is true that having fun is against the pillars, then I say bust those pillars.
Separating is still better than people quitting.
Idk.
There was loads of interest for era classic aswell and ppl demanded an option to stay at era.
In reality, the era servers are just dead. Especially when som came
WE WANT TBC-ERA SERVERS!!!
Cloning like last time around
BLIZZARD! Retain TBC classic servers, please!
Thanks in advance!
I thought the entire point of legacy servers was that everyone could play their preferred expansion as current content. But no, I guess only Vanilla gets that treatment.
If you play TBC might as well as play Wotlk. Vanilla is pretty much different experience or even different game. That’s why it remains.
On paper it’s a good idea but the reality is…Classic Era server are dead. SoM servers are even worse. I’m fine if people want them but it’s unlikely Blizz will keep operating servers where only a hundred people play on them.
The only legacy servers the stand a chance to stay populated is WotLK once the expansion is over (the great majority of pservers that had good population have been Wrath ones)
even tho i wasn’t a fan of tbc, i fully support the voices for tbc era client/server… should be obvious to have them but you have to understand that blizzard is a small indie company and can’t afford servers, even working ones.
Only thing I don’t like about it is that playerbases are already split by server.
We’re split up too much.
I fully agree with OP.
