Deathwing, the cataclysm cinematic is still one of my favourites.

The current ‘dragons’ are automatically disqualified for not being dragons. Maybe they were once, but now they’re humans and elves with a skill that lets them be a dragon for 30 seconds and with a 1 day cooldown.

Galakrond, Sapphiron and Sindragosa are just corpses, so they’re out. Though Sapphiron did has a good few solid lines before he died.

I’d probably, out of the remaining pool of actual dragons, pick Nefarian.

  • Lived in a mountain
  • Had a bunch of treasure
  • Had a cult of worshippers
  • Breathed fire that burned things
  • Only used a human form to disguise himself and confuse his enemies
  • Had class and a stern persona
  • Had a feud with another big evil
  • Had a hot sister

He’s the most dragon-like out of all of them.

It’s been a good while since we’ve had someone so good at hitting nails on the head as you are. Please don’t stop.

I do think WoW has a few cases of badass dragons though, or just dragons that really do behave like dragons. Umbrelskul was the exact opposite of Nefarian but very much a dragon.

Can I get to pick Yu’lon, aka the Jade Dragon? It’s not a dragon like the others I suppose but it literally has dragon in its name, and it actually behaves like one. It never assumes a humanoid shape either. (玉龍 (yu4 long2) in the Chinese client, 龍 means dragon)

She takes the shape of a Pandaren cub both in the quests in The Jade Forest and in the novel War Crimes. Other than that, I like your choice.

You can but only because you are pandas. I didn’t play MoP though so have no real idea about his character. I kind of assumed he didn’t have one.

I’d completely forgotten that. But at least she says “Sorry for the deception”, so there’s that.

Ok she’s slightly down the list. But she’s got some stiff competition as far as liking her human form over her dragon form goes these days, so not far…

I didn’t read War Crimes.

MoP is the dumbest concept ever made awesome. I remember the detractors, and they were right. Until I played it, then they were wrong. Lmao. It’s like chill pandas from pandaland does panda things and do silly relaxed things and drink beer. Look Alementals ahahaha. And underneath it all, it’s an Old God that caused them to hide from the world and basically destroyed their culture because they were forced to ignore all hardships just to survive.

Pandaria was gorgeous and dark. It’s like a thin, beautiful veneer, and right underneath the surface there were monsters. I’ll never forget when I arrived in Zhu’s Watch and everyone’s depressed because one person got sufficiently sad and summoned a sha. Somehow that hit harder than the statue being destroyed and summoning a sha the size of a highrise immediately prior in the Jade Forest.

There’s also little things. Little customs and stories that exist in a way there that I really haven’t seen since. Expressions like “looking for the turtle”.
