Personally.
First remove racials that give combat advantage in PvE or PvP and simply make races cosmetic choice then we can go wild with the races

I rather the Amani be in the Horde, or it could become another High elf situation since The Revantusk (Forest Troll) tribe been part of the Horde for long time and Amani have history with the Horde…well Black’hand/Doomhammer’s Horde. If there to be a (kind of) troll race in the Alliance then Haronir would make sense for the Alliance.
But I rather the Alliance High elves become playable for the Alliance.
Im sure we will, but that probably won’t happen until we get updated Draenai city on Azuremyst isle. Might be customizations as they share same history with the Draenai and also the Draenai’s History comes from the Broken when Blizzard first created the Draenai back in TBC. And in Draenai Heritage armor quest Velen managed to get the Krokul broken to join them so the Broken can’t join the Horde as some Horde players asked as both Outland Broken and Krokul are now part of the Alliance…unofficialy ofcourse. So if the Broken became playable for the Horde then we would have another High elf problem as the Broken is already part of the Alliance since Cataclysm.
Yeah, The Amani have even longer dispute with the Humans even if the Dispute with the High/Blood elves were more bloody. They still remmbered the Strom’kar sword that killed 1000 of Amani trolls. But also the Amani have no connection to the Alliance as they do with the Horde, the Old horde is still there even if its Thrall’s Horde. Its why some orcs could not see or wanted Thrall as Warcheif as Thrall was not for War but Peace. That’s why Thrall gave the title of Warcheif to Garrasoh as He could bring back the Old values of the Old Horde. Garrosh did…for awhile anyway until Blizzard decided to make Garrosh to go crazy. And everyone have seen the clip from Blizzard france that the Amani is willing to put aside their past. Sure could be Blizzard is just “trolling”. That is nothing new.

Hmm well I hope it also give the OG trolls get that Amani’s new troll model with the customizations. When it comes to racial then the OG trolls have that Amani trolls would have which is the Berserking and Regeneration. As we know from Warcraft 2 they go berserk and has a upgrade trolls in WC2 to become “troll berserker”. And they share animations with the OG trolls looking at the male Amani anyway. We haven’t seen yet, the new female Amani if they share animations with OG female trolls. Also when creating “New Troll” it doesn’t not say darkspear. Just say troll. And with the new customizations from shadowlands they are all kinds of trolls. Jungle, sand trolls etc. But true they miss the heritage armor and identity of being their own race doing so. Hmm I don’t know what would their racial traits be that make sense for Amani if OG trolls already have the racial traits that makes sense for Amani trolls if Amani trolls became their own playable race. Unless Tradepost comes with armor and weapons that gives the Amani look.
Same with the Kultirans. The racial traits they have would work for a Vrykul too.
The Child of the Sea as the Vrykul are also seafaring race and The Ancient Mariner that gives minor reduction in Frost and Nature damage as they come from “cold” place, from Northrend. Vrykul would be awsome as playable but Blizzard could make that there is a Tribal human race of Kultirans on Kultirans that never converted to the Light and lives in old Drust village in Kul tiras and gives Kultirans Vrykul and Drust customizations to Kultirans. And also give them Rexxar body/six pack model for the male kultirans and Orc female model to female Kultirans. Also give Kultiran druids the Heartsbane Coven magic color, the white, blue, black magic we see the witches of Heartsbane Coven use instead of the green.
No, that is a different story as Umbric and his followers did not take part of the faction wars. They were an exiled research group from Silvermoon. Blizzard called them Elite squad but they never took part of the faction wars and for it to be elite squad they have to be less or maximum of 10 people but they were 23 people in Umbric’s squad, so that does not make them an elite squad.

Amani trolls can’t be just a customization option green skin/more buffed simply because they have an entirely different culture from the Zandalari or Darkspear.It’s not a Man’ari eredar situation.What i’d like to see in the future is that they let you choose what kind of orc,dwarf,troll,elf etc. you want to play and let you choose with a dropdown option instead of having this bloated character creation screen
As for the Haranir, i don’t mind them they are “ok” but i would never thought they become playable when we didn’t get them in TWW.If you asked me 2 months earlier i would have bet my money on Amani - Ethereal for Midnight

Yeah I agree, I would rather the Amani be their own race but as I said the OG trolls have the racial traits that the Amani would have. And as they said that the OG trolls gets Amani customizations which probably is Amani Hairstyles, different green skins and warpaint. But what could be the racial traits for Amani then. The Zandalari have the Loa trait and the OG have Berserk and regeneration.
Well they going to have to otherwise it would look very cluttered if they are going to add more races. I have mentioned this before in other threads.
Well the Haranir were cut from the TWW and added for Midnight instead as we were suppose to go to their home (most likely) in TWW after we met Orweyna.
Remember WOD. As Blizzard said multiple times that Grom Hellscream would be the end boss for WOD during Blizzcon (Savage…Savage etc etc). But at the end of WOD it was changed and Archimonde and the Legion become the endgame. SO Blizzard can change their minbds at anytime.

I don’t think we will get any more allied races. Just race/class combos. Also (not looked at the 500 HE threads) fairly sure they will never give us HE, because they gave us VE instead.
Racials are not a problem, they can cook something up easy,damn i could give you some examples at the top of my head right now.Reduced fall damage,chopping faster, and some % increase to hp/intel or stat which is blunt but the easy road for many.I can see something like throwing a hatchet with a bleed effect similar to how haymaker works for Kul’Tiran.
And it didn’t satiate them. They’ll inevitably add the real thing i think
They really should finally add them, I’ve been saying that for years. Same for orc demon hunters.
Why blizz often does something that no one asks for, and very rarely what players have been asking for for years, I will never understand. They probably don’t have an explanation for this either.

The devs already have confirmed, that once you complete Zul’Aman zone as a Darkspear troll you will unlock Amani customisations.
I really do hope it means Troll beards.

I hope its more then just beards , but something around the lines of the Orcs getting “Posture” options and we get something like Amani related model change with posture tweak as an option.

I think this means Amani trolls are somewhat more unlikely though if they are giving Amani customisations to Darkspear.
Amani customizations doesn’t mean playable Amani troll though,i’ve explained why this doesn’t work.
Anyhow customizations are always welcome and happy for that but if they just slap a greener tint and some beards that would be the most lazy effort imaginable.They also said on this interview that “we don’t wanna close doors for future opportunities” when asked about playable Amani which is hopeful i guess?
