Guild tabards customization 🏴‍☠️

Character customization is one of the best features of Shadowlands… and many of us hope there’s going to be much more added in that regard in the future…

But how about the guild tabards?

Let’s be honest, they haven’t been updated in ages (or ever?) and could totally use at least:

• a new improved customization UI
• an increase of polygons
• new shapes (such as ragged and torn, battle-worn)
• new background colors
• background patterns
• two-colors shaded backgrounds
• new logos
• a choice of logo positioning patterns
• new logo colors (proper gold and silver please!)
• full color logos from actual factions unlockable from rep and/or achievements
• dirt overlays (blood stains, burned look, dusty, filthy with ooze…)

If you agree, please consider leaving at least a ‘like’ to this thread or (even better) post a suggestion in game!

You can make suggestions in game on the live game:-

• Using the in-game “Submit Feedback” option that is found on the Help menu.
  1. Press the Esc key to open the Game Menu, and click Support.
  2. Click Submit feedback or bug report.
  3. Click Submit a suggestion.
  4. Follow the guidelines on the submission form, and enter your suggestion.
  5. Click Submit.

I would love to see a bit of love put into the tabards. I would also enjoy it is they did the following.

*Ragged/torn tabards to hint that the character had been in war/strife.
*Blood on a tabard, once more to imply player has been in combat.
*Colours like gold and silver that truly pops. So that if you pick red and gold, it actually looks gold and not yellow.

An update is long overdue, AND it would hardly be controversial.

Possibly however this might be a problem… as only when people argue about a feature the thread becomes very popular and may catch the community blues’ eyes…

I used to enjoy collecting tabbards and loved there increased rep for factions in dungeons.

The ability to zoom in on the UI for customisation would be nice. Half the time I can’t see the design properly.
Also, maybe the ability to see it on various races and not just the one you’re playing as, or just by itself.

One of the things that bug me most is being unable to properly match the tabard color to the characters’ mogs.

They could give us a proper color palette with color picker!

Also we could use some alternate designs that work differently/better with belts and skirts.

Yes please. Personally I’ve always found it weird there isn’t a very basic sun icon to use (there’s a “sunrise” though, huge ugly thing) which would fit my guild’s name, so I’d like that, amongst a huge update to tabards overall.
