I’d agree there because the vision of and wish for how it should be implemented already varies a lot between players. At the same time I believe a good and interesting version should be possible. Whether it would work out that way is another thing.
If i was Blizzard wanted to implement Player housing into WoW… I’d actually look after Star wars the Old Republic and how they do it there… Rather than how they do it in Final fantasy 14.
You buy an apartment on a planet. In wow it would be in any of the capital cities… You can buy them in small too medium too large apartments. And you can buy allot of furnitures and decorations to make your own apartment…
But in WoW? I just don’t think wow is redefined enough to handle it… But I can be wrong… And positively surprised.
I really enjoyed player housing in my Swtor apartments.

I think its a very far stretch to consider this an attempted hint at player housing from Blizzard.
I could think of a million (I am exagerating) other things before I’d reach this conclusion

What about everyone that doesn’t like raiding? Should they stop making raids because of that? What about everyone that doesn’t like M+? Should they stop making M+ because of that?
Kind of a silly argument, dude. Not everything is liked by everyone. That has always been a thing.

What about them? Well for one most of them aren’t here on the forums… The ones you see here on the forums speaking in favor of player housing are not the majority of wow players…
They are literally a very silent minority who speaks very loudly for it here on the forums.
But try to do the same to the same statistics of players who play wow for Endgame and raiding. And youd really truly see how loud and vocal the forums would become.
Kill wow endgame m+ and raiding in favor of player housing? And youd see WoW forum participation like you’d never had dreamed off.
Most WoW players aren’t here Tah on the forums… they just play the game.

I don’t see how a hint could be considered as bad blood, it’s not Blizzard’s fault if someone else comes up with a crazy theory based on a screenshot.
Blizzard has a certain dev budget, which they’ll use on whatever they want in the game. Based on what I see in the game every day, more m+ is probably on the cards.
Nobody suggested that and that won’t happen.
Their team is likely big enough that they could start (or have already started) work on a housing system without it impacting ANYTHING. It will just take some time until they’re ready to REALLY start filling that system out.
I think you’re worrying about nothing.
I truly hope I am… That would be for the best.
In the end a best of both worlds would be ideal… But we will see.

Not only ideal, I truly believe it’s the only way to do it.
Many (if not most) people are not going to accept Blizzard saying: “Hey we’re giving you housing, but no raids this year, kk?”.

Pretty much. People think companies can just hire a bunch of devs to work on separate projects, but in reality it takes weeks/months of training before those guys can write a single line of code.
The amount of open world content plummeted when the crest system was added and now they’re presumably working on the “pirate surprise” thing which I’m guessing will be some open world stuff while raiders get a fated season and a big middle finger.
Looking at player feedback any attempt at housing will be met with “this isn’t real housing reee” so instead of making a sub-par clone of what other games are doing, perhaps use some creativity to outdo them.
Thats what they will have to do. If WoW is going to make player housing it has to kick some serious butt. WoW players wouldn’t be content with a Garrison+ system with a player housing sticker slapped onto it.
It has to be really good.

Copium for sure. Think they said player housing would take a ton of resources to implement?
Also, the official pages mainly prefer to post those friday dad jokes and updates, rather than hint spoilers.
Rly doubt this is about player housing.
Im thinking the person in charge of the account just wanted to post something wholesome & maybe advertise up coming cosmetics, but dont think its anything major.
I feel the same but it was fun to see the reactions on the various social media where people were all excited.
Maybe some day
