Yes, the company made a speacial deal to pay in my local currency, which is now 10.99 euro per month.
Kkthxbye.

Exactly, having optimized price for eastern europe region(Turkey, Greece, Hungary, Bulgaria, Balkan countries such as Serbia, Bosnia, Albania, etc.) would be pretty much fair, this thread turns into political **show due to some edgy bois or people with ***hurt and you are right i haven’t voted for the current goverment myself
learn to use calculator and divide 6 month sub price by currency rate and well 6
second facepalm
For some reason you think everyone are on 6 month subscriptions, especially since the quality of product hit the bottom. Flawed assumption.
No thanks (here`s a third facepalm for you).
I would support this change. The buying power in these countries is really bad compared to the west. They also charge the people from the uk more than germany for example. Or charge americans less than EU. So there shouldnt be a problem to adjust the pricing.
The only problem could be greed, since people are paying anyway why lose out on profits right?
Revenue is the only thing that matters.
The only probable reason to implement regional pricing if the amount of players e.g. in eastern europe will drop drastically.
Even with current decline Blizzard seems fine with the amount of EU p(l)ayers, otherwise we would have seen any pricing adjustments from their side.
But for now the flock is seems fed, btw, here’s a new flying ship mount for you, which doesn’t even sail, just prolong your sub for 1 more year.
Upd. And don’t forget about our explorer’s rucksack, make your friend(s) pay for 10 months.
you forgot Romania, unlike greece for example, we dont even have euro. so for east-europe countrys like bulgaria romania belarus eetc who dont even have euro the problem is even higher
Yes Romania too, we all share the same problem, i hope Blizzard considers soon
It can’t happen as there are many poor nations. I am Polish and for years WoW sub meant I have to resign from other expenses. Now when Polish economy is way better and I have really good job I can play WoW whenever I want but doing a favor just for Turkish is just privelege. What about Ukrainians, Belarusians, Albanians, Moldovans, Georgians, Armenians? They also work hard and their wages aren’t as high as ours yet they don’t beg yet there are players from these countries in EU. Half of them you simply know by Russians.
About Greece being poor - come on you’re in top half of average payment per person in Europe xD
Not true, it’d be far from a net loss. It could mean lower profits, but not necessarily — it depends on the sensitivity of demand to price for WoW in Turkey.
It also wouldn’t be “unfair” to players, PPP adjustments are supposed to make things fair. The Big Mac index is a good example of this.
I support relative pricing for all regions with lower purchasing power.
