Assuming one of the mini-events doesn’t bug out, thus not spawning the end-boss in the first place. So that’s a wasted 90m wait (And four and a half hours if you want to complete that weekly - Or more, assuming it doesn’t bug again!)
Blizz knows their servers can’t cope, but still bothers to put these events on knowing the mess it’ll cause! Good going.
Also - Who decided to put a timer on the portal (At Dalaran) for the event we AREN’T waiting for? Who does that - You put a count-down timer over the place that we’re waiting to go into, not for the place where the event finished an hour ago!

Hey all,
I’ve now consolidated several topics into this one.
Our developers are aware of several issues with the event, including:
- High latency / lag
- The event can get stuck
If you encounter any bug related to the event, please do make sure that you report it to our developers, with as much details as possible.
If you have any feedback on how the event works, and that you’d like to share with the developers, here is how you can do it. Please keep an eye out for official communications from our developers, some changes have apparently already been made (Wowhead).
Thank you all for your patience, this is very much appreciated.

-My net is fine thank you
-Game on other areas, events, fights, instances are just perfect, no issues
-Yes there are some buggy addons, however this experience only occurs with the prepatch boss events, nowhere else, so we can disregard that an addon causing the lag.
-Once again: Game runs fine, no such issue anywhere else, other than this new PrePatch event boss fight.
-Once again: No addon changing the main bar, or my skills, all I got is standard macros 255 character on bars, so no, this isn’t an interface bug.
Issue: I push a button, you can see the Global cooldawn is moving like a turtle, 2-3 seconds to complete on the bar. My skill doesn’t happen, for at least 3-10 seconds in the game. I can push the buttons the game register them VERY SLOWLY, but they are lagging behind insanely long time. See my video I recorded on my stream, you can clearly see I’m pushing buttons, and clearly see that holy power generation is botched, late, slow and its usage also very very slow.
Need a fix ASAP, this is clearly event related, and/or network related issue in the zones/instances.

I’ve been watching the forums since this event went live and am yet to see any response acknowledging this terrible performance?
What is the point of these bosses having abilities like Arthas dot which spawns a puddle when you get the dot and run out, the timer ends nothing happens, you wait 5-6 seconds run back in and bam the crud is dropped under the boss.
This event is doing nothing but making us all see how completely incapable this game is of being a massively multiplayer game.
Here’s some feedback.

Side objectives completed in 2 minutes only with moderate lag because this zone is the largest of three so it has poorest concentration of players.
Which leaves us with close to another 15 minutes attacking a target dummy with a 20 second delay, 3 FPS and the fans on my PC are starting to sound like a jet engine. I hope that you can draw some conclusions on your own. I have applied a dot on the target ONCE because that was all I could as the server won’t register any further commands and if I push it could disconnect me.
Making this event PLAYABLE should be a priority. By the time we get into the details on how to improve the overall experience or make it more fun everyone will already be sick of it.
Did the event in Chromie Time and the game ran almost perfectly, free from any lag or performance issues while being equally overcrowded. On the other hand, base-timeline Warmode phase didn’t work well.

three times now the timer has hit 0, and nothing happens, just the message saying the memories popped out for a walk, or something and the timer resets back to an hour and a half. Hung around 5-10 mins to see if it was just slow spawning but doesnt seem to be the case.
Really hope this gets fixed soon, and maybe some extra currency handed out? Ive wasted several hours waiting for the events to start, god knows how much time less casual players have wasted with this bug.
At the first day of the War Within prepatch all players had to face a huge game-play problem during Radiant Echoes content. We can declare, these content unplayable. Do not know, what the actual technical problem is, world and home ms both fine, but during fights there are some kind of lag. Players unable to see what debuffs are active, addons are not working, we can only press buttons randomly without any sense or purpose.
In a normal world, game developers should test and try the content what they made…
Does anyone from the creator side logged into a game after the launch? Did anyone face these problems?
Today is the end of the second day after the launch. How can these circumstances still alive?
Hope all devs, testers and QA team offer their last month salary to some noble cause as penance!
And really hope this is not a demo about how the game can be played after the new expansion launch.
Several changes were made last night by our developers.

As a reminder, the Customer Support forum isn’t the appropriate place to provide feedback about the game: it needs to be posted in the General Discussion forum, in-game, on Twitter, Reddit, or your favourite fan site, for example (the community team also visits them regularly to know what players are talking about).
P.S: our developers are still monitoring and working on issues related to high latency / lag during the event.

This happens every time they make these kinds of events. Both the Diablo and the Hearthstone events we’ve had in the past year or so were complete lagfests on populated servers, yet Blizz don’t seem to learn from their mistakes and keeps making them like this.
It was to be expected.
Also OP, just a heads up, the actual launch isn’t going to be lag free either, so plan accordingly.
Masked profanity also isn’t allowed on the forum.
