A one time change would already lead to abuse.
‘craft the best chest piece you can’
Respec.
‘craft the best head piece you can’.
Wear them both.
Sure, a 1 time respec would do the LEAST damage. I’ll admit to that.
So IF Blizzard was to do any sort of respec, I’d prefer it to be that option.
But even then, it’s open to abuse. And I don’t like that (even though I personally would benefit from it!).
So I prefer the system to stay as is. Since there’s no need to have all this stuff NOW.
You will get the points for everything. Everyone who engages with the system in any meaningful way will. So eventually you will get what you want.
All it takes is a little patience and a tiny amount of work on a weekly basis.
I don’t see a problem there. I really don’t.
You keep revering to this ‘abuse’ but you do not provide the reasons BEHIND them.
And why are you talking about self crafting cvause then we may actually have the old crafting system back…
You really dont understand people cant abuse it with theyr own sparks anyway? Not just sparks btw, also Primal chaos, which you need to farm up, which takes a hefty chunk out of someones time if they do two peaces anyway as you claim it to be.
But you cant farm sparks, there bi weekly and if you honestly think that can be compared to day by day work on CO’s then you’re out of your mind with your ‘abuse reason’
Not to mention you would need 3 sparks for two handed weapon plus armor peace anyway so what are you even on about thats 6 weeks No difference getting another crafter to do the stuff fyi because you’re not gonna need to overpay since personal orders arnt limted to 20.
Unless you can spend the whole day on doing side studies on the internet about how it works at least. Which in some people’s tiny world seems perfectly fine and therefore, everyone demanding a bit more room for - experimenting - is casual players whining and being too stupid to read guides. Playing four hours a day is not playing casual but it surely isn’t enough to read entire gameplay compendiums that don’t even relate to actual content and at the same time make any progress via gameplay.
A good game should be self-explaining and make players able to comprehend the dynamic without taking extra courses on the internet. WoW is relying way too much on others to put in the work for them in order to enhance gameplay anyways. The whole focus seems to have shifted to social media and additional “ingame magazines” rather than making sure your product can speak for itself.
I don’t want to register on Twitch to get game items. I don’t want to listen to self-proclaimed experts on youtube telling me how to play my class. And most certainly do I not want to spend 1 hour on finding locations of KP treasures in order to progress my profession, another hour on getting an overview about which professions my twinks can improve by crafting profession gear to then start the whole mess all over again on more than one char.
Oh you didn’t read my earlier response to someone else?
Here, let me paste it for you, so you UNDERSTAND.
I hope you understand me now.
I really feel I have to explain everything twice, even three or four times to you.
Stop assuming things. Because it seems you’re often wrong.
Oh, I did. But you don’t seem to get the memo, that you responding to every single comment someone makes comes off quite ridiculous, so let me make it a bit easier for you:
This person wants to keyboard warrior so much I cant wait for them to yet agree that I make fairpoints but doesnt want to adjust theyr ‘opinion’ cause they secretly dont agree.
Using a 6 week cooldown sure as hell is a major abusive issue…
You instead say “1 point” but you not once argue why you think 6 weeks would be a major issue when infact that is not a major issue, its very minor. Thats half wy towards 10.1
Very smart of you to use that as an very poor excuse because it aint gonna be abused due to the fact you cant do it within 6 weeks to get the best possible equipment … LOL
That’s all only based on my 1 example.
There’s far more you could do with a reset… Craft reagents needed for upgrades, unlock extra reagent slots so you can make more powerful stuff, etc etc.
It doesn’t all need a spark.
There’s plenty you can do to ‘game the system’.
And I want to avoid that.
Sigh. I really didn’t want to make another reply, but that’s just factually not true.
Seen that funny little world quest pop up yesterday? Gives you a crafting reagent that ups the ilvls. Voila. Purple gear without a spark.
Whilst you’re not wrong, I should point out that when you’ve accidentally committed some talents that you didn’t want to even commit in the first place, feels really bad.
The other thing is, if everyone specced BIS Talents, then that Talent tree wouldn’t be BIS anymore.
