PvP community discriminated again

Being inflammatory isn’t a good way to get your point across. Personally I think it’s fine that you’re encouraged to do several different kinds of gameplay.

Didn’t you notice that he started this whole drama. Encouraging to do everything doesn’t mean forcing everyone to do a M+. Take a look at my char. I stopped playing in season 2. Look at my gear. I reached Duelist which is objectively way harder than M+15 and I only wore 3 PvP items which were titanforged or gem slot procs + BIS PvP azerite that I got from weekly chest but not everyone is that lucky. There is difference between encourage and force. In season 1 when we got plenty of drops in arenas I could agree with encourage but from season 2 you cannot succeed without 70% of PvE gear until you reach gladiator.

Oh I dunno what to say? Maybe that pvp doesnt matter no matter how much you bark about it and Id still buy a boost for an elite set if I wanted it rather than to waste a second of my life on that garbage?
No ones mad, no ones pretending anything, no one cares, pvp doesnt matter. Sorry not sorry.

Yeah, Ill settle with that.
Get over yourself.

It means that I give zero fs about which ever of his idols he cared to give a lecture about.
Nice glasses.

if pvp doesn’t matter to you, you wouldn’t buy a boost for an elite set for it wouldnt you?

anyways stay delusional

HAHAHA it’s like saying “oh they are letting you play the game now, what is enough for you???” what a joke you are.

You’re so desperate to offend us but you can’t. Everyone just let you know what’s your place xD

Imagine pretending to be better just because you’re worse at every aspect of the game than us. Yes I wear glasses and you wear bunny ears to roleplay a hoe you are😂

ignorant and wrong. you see this is what I hate about the community. Some random as5s noobs giving their opinion when they have no real life experience with the thing they’re commenting on. get the fx out of here you degenerate:

WoW (before fantasy lawyer unqualified for the job came with Legion and BFA) can attribute much of it’s success to the PvP system they put in place. Fighting one and another is exciting and having various tools from the MMO aspects at your disposal is what allowed the good to stand out and shine.

WoW has (or had) the best pvp system in the world. The sheer amount of expression that 3 skill bars of abilities + other aspects of wow allowed you to perform was the selling point and the big gift of WoW. When Wow was still good (before Ion, replace that guy) it was a joy to play pvp and have real battles on the fields. It was very much a game of skill, because you had tools at your disposal and it was up to you how you’re gonna utilize them.

Now all your tools are mashed into 1 ability, corruption and essences do the rest of the work for you. This is all thanks to one fantasy game director that got the job because his Jewish sister was married to a chairman’s daughter.

Bottomline is, you the poster, you’re a fxking incredible noob and I wish you didn’t input any opinion ever again.

And secondly WoW PvP was the greatest display of skill and self-expression a multiplayer could allow you.

Lol I hit a sensible cord here, look around, WoW PvP is not a reference, for good reason.

Class unbalance and gear based alone (not even gear corruption which is even more silly) won’t make it a good game, no matter how you like it and that’s fine. WoW is PvE focused but I hope it’s not news for you.

Also when you want a make a point and not look like a salty angry kid, try to be diplomatic and not doing personal attacks because you read something that doesn’t suit your opinion.

Except it was good. Some of the first big streamers who actually made Twitch what it was were WoW PvP players if you like it or not. Reckful who was the first huge twitch streamer never played PvE, Sodapoppin who was the biggest guy before Fortnite era also played PvP. The biggest WoW youtuber was Swifty who did content for people who wanted to get into PvP. There were few other forgotten youtubers that made this game popular and some of them have their ingame chars in Ashran and Black Rook Hold arena. Nobody watched Asmongold who actually became huge post MoP because PvP was boring to watch and bobody was watching world first race. Nobody know who Sco or Josh is. They became popular when PvP became crap. We don’t want anything imposible - we want PvP to be as good as it once was.

You must be post MoP player. Only these milenial kids who started in WoD and later say that this game cannot work with PvP because you never experienced it when it was good. PvP was great and I want it to ge great again. In Wrath raiding and PvP were almost 50-50. It died a bit in Cata ironically because I think it had the biggest competitive potential back them due to Blizzard not organizing PvP tournaments during Blizzcon and ending a contract with MLG. People wanted PvP back so that’s why arena tournament came back on Blizzcon during MoP.

The biggest problem is that we don’t even have a chance to play Cata and MoP versions of the game because there is either crap retail or boring no pvp Vanilla. Tbh even BFA could be good if they bring back arena passes. I would pay these 20 euro for test like realm with all items like we used to get in TBC, Wrath and Cata. Instead I feel that Ion is trying hard to annoy us with completely opposite things we want because he thinks it’s better for PvP while more and more players quit. PvP sucks because Ion ruined it not because it sucked always. I say Ion because he is Game Director - every decision must be approved by him.

I really enjoyed legion’s pvp.

No mucking about, log on and que for a bg, have fun on any toon then leave all the grinding for Pve for your main.

Shame it was really unpopular.

My huge problem with Legion was that they removed a lot of utility and mechanics from the game. No Tremor and Grounding on Shaman dps specs made their gameplay blant and boring. There were few like Legion Survival Hunter, Marksman Hunter Holy Priest, Demonology Warlock - I find their BFA versions huge downgrade Other problem was lack of stat customization. If you had for example an NPC where you could “reforge some template stats” against different teams it would be great. In WoD I had few stat sets. Vs Rmx - full versa as Shaman and against Turbo - full dmg to pressure them harder. It wasn’t the case in Legion.

Ahhh, Wod pvp was so under rated.

I remember when me and my friend being Survival hunters in 2v2. They were so broken back then xD.

WoD was ok but MoP and Cata were much better imo because they had more mechanics. I miss Wrath/Cata totem switching. Switching Weapon Enhancements for Unleashed Elements - Frostbrand 70% slow and 50% more movement speed for few secs, Flametongue 30% more Fire and Nature Damage from the next spell, Rockbitter for 40% damage reduction for few secs and taunt, Earthliving for more healing and Windfury for more atack speed from white swings and more % windfury chance. Rotating them gave you more outplay potential. It was such cool and fun mechanic. I don’t get why Enh cannot have instant Hex - Ret has stun, DK too. Hex can be dispelled by 3 different classes - 2 of them can be healers. Boomkin is even immune to it. I feel that some dr changes from WoD killed few comps and boosted others. It killed Beastcleave because Trap and Scatter are on the same DR as Hex. The fact that Cyclone and Fear are on the same dr while they nerfed fear threshold and that Poly and Cyclone aren’t made Lock+Druid way weaker than Mage+Druid teams. I understand MoP L.S.D. and L.S.D.2 were broken but come on it was overkill in my oppinion. You can still play them but Druid’s role is just stay as far behind and heal and don’t even bother using Cyclone.
