You may be good at PvP, potentially even very good, but as far as PvE is concerned youre absolutely horrendous and that brings me back to my original point that just because youre good at one thing doesnt mean youre good at the other by default. I stopped counting how many gladiators have failed their trials but i can count the amount of Gladiators that have passed them on one hand.
Even trying to compare PvE and PvP with one another is nothing short of a massive facepalm given its entirely different concepts of gameplay.

So he is known for being at the top of PVE and PvP, and I think he started off from more the PVE side of things. Therefore, your statement of PVErs can’t can’t “be boosted” to gladiator, is incorrect.

Trill played at the absolute top of PVE content, and now plays for Liquid at the absolute top of PvP. His build on his rogue was directly copied from the best PVE rogue for highest damage potential, no other PVP rogues have done this. Therefore, highlighting a testament to the relevancy of PVE. Player presses their buttons in X content
Player presses their buttons in Y content
Players need knowledge in the associated content that they press their buttons
Players are able to re-learn and adapt to the difference in the content, but it is a moot point to argue with requires more from a player

And I got whispers about this in the past as well for my “dragon slayer” stuff. You arent as special as you believe mate.
Rather a case more people participate in PvE than PvP. And being able to mindlessly farm a boss over and over (due to heavily decreased drop rates) after the xpac is over because of the hunter gatherer nature of humans helps sustaining sub numbers. And even PvE has limited rewards such as the KSM mounts and some Curve mounts.
Tastes differ. Nobody really cared about the Death Elemental in SL that much either. I for instance dont care about either.
Limited time but not hard to get, half the curves i got in bfa/shadowlands and legion was accidental, since i was doing it for conduits or essences etc to use in pvp, and i barely had any problems with full pvp gear and pvp talents, didn’t even know tactics just went in lfg and applied to every group i could.
