We are planning some fantastic changes to the Arena World Championship and Mythic Dungeon International in 2021 to take full advantage of all that Shadowlands has to offer.

PvP E-sport, LULZ.
The way arenas are now you could probably do the whole tournament in 30 minutes. I’m sure it’ll be very engaging to watch matches that are shorter than the time spent waiting for the gates to open.

The games will be from January and onwards. I’m sure Blizzard will have made some balance changes before then.
But even so, those Blizzcons in the past that took so long they hadn’t even found a winner by the time the closing ceremony rolled around, that was probably the most undesired balance format imaginable.
I mean, from a spectator point of view, we’re better off with fast-paced action than hour long slugfests.

Took 4 years to put on the 1 class limit / run.
