Auction House Update Coming with Patch 4.4.2 Next Week

With scheduled weekly maintenance next week (19 February in this region), we’ll implement our planned Auction House updates.

Approximately 48 hours before the patch in each region, the Auction House in Cataclysm Classic will enter a countdown phase. During this time creating new auctions will display a message notifying players that any unsold items will be returned early and deposits will be lost. Players can continue to create, bid upon, buy, and cancel auctions throughout this timeframe, but all auction durations will be capped. At the end of the countdown period, a new message will notify players that items cannot be posted.

Care to elaborate.

what’s the reason for reworking ah? or doing so, what’s the reason for leaving out a lot of features - impossible to do - that were previously solved by action house addons.

if you were to include these features, it would be understandable… but in the absence of this, it is a serious step backwards
