Hold on a minute - so entry is first come first serve at location, but you’re still giving out tickets regardless?

What is the point of a ticket if it isn’t a guaranteed entry?

I’m so confused. Can you please clarify?
As I said in the original announcement post, I am not coming because I don’t want to travel to London, which is a 2hr flight away, only to stand there unable to enter because of some “Hey you were too late to use your ticket even though you were on time” malarky.

Don’t take my word for it but… Basically buy tickets but entry is first come first served.

Events like these has safety rules in place as too how many people are allowed to be in said building at once…

So yes… Reads to me like you very much could buy tickets and be denied entry if the halls are full.

Alright, well - they can have fun then. :stuck_out_tongue:

Idk though I might be wrong. But If I am right? They should limit ticket sales accordingly to the amount of people the safety rules allow into the building.

OBVIOUSLY

EDIT: Or not give out tickets.

Vulperas are small and technically two can sit on same seat :cat:

This was asked on multiple forums and articles but haven’t come across clarification from anyone at Blizz yet…Can someone please clarify “the first come, first served” instruction? I was able to get my tickets, fairly…no bots, nothing. Made the necessary accommodations to fly to London, hotel and so on. Didn’t mind the expense as being from Europe this seemed like the only time we will ever manage to attend a Blizzard event… But now it’s not clear if we’ll even be granted entry despite having tickets. Obviously we’re expecting queues and will think ahead but to be denied entry would be devastating :frowning:

I’m going to be camping outside the venue with my ghoul :stuck_out_tongue:

That was a waste of time, I refreshed constantly from 14:50. At 15:02 it was still saying “available soon”, then one refresh later “sold out”. What a load of rubbish! Beyond angry at even advertising it if they are not really available. I’ve got 1gb line and live by the likely data centre used to host the site yet still gone in the space of one refresh.

So after the blink of an Page-Refresh the status went from “Coming Soon” to “Sold out” within 10 seconds? Are you kidding us?

I was there at exactly 3pm, had another page open with the time to the second open

They sold out in roughly 3 seconds since it took me 5 seconds to add the tickets and hit checkout

Either there was like 10 tickets left, its been botted or both

Didn’t even appear to click add to basket for me. Gone instantly in the blink of an eye between one refresh and the next.

Just like the second wave, immediately sold out. In a heartbeat it went from ‘Available soon’ to Sold Out. This is beyond ridiculous…

same thing was refreshing none stop on my phone and on my pc but nothing went from coming soon to sold out even when it was 3:00:05

Absolute rubbish. I was so fast and they were instantly gone. They were either swallowed by a bot or bots or there wasnt any to start with and it was a massive troll! What a joke. Zero control over ticket allocation.

I had my phone, my PC, and my boyfriend had it open on his phone too and yet neither of us even managed to get to checkout because tickets were gone in the blink of an eye.
