PvE dmg output somehow balanced if demo can free cast to preapre burst, but pve is for noobs !!! that dont have hands !
What bothers me the most with these notes is that warrior and ret are still running rampart.
Well, it kinda depends. Against low pressure comps then they’ll keep going strong, but if they actually have to heal frequently then the cd on holy shock and bestow faith will cause them to go oom.
Thing is, the mana regen for a holy pala is 2k every 5 sec. Reduced by 30% equals 1400 every 5 sec. Holy shock has a 7.5s cd, and bestow faith has a 12s cd.
And then holy shock costs 1400 mana, bestow faith costs 600 mana, holy light costs 1500 mana (2.5s cast), and then include things like throwing judgment costs 300 mana, while crusader strike costs 900 mana.
So yes, if a holy pala only uses holy shock and bestow faith, and doesn’t need to do any other healing during those cooldowns, and doesn’t need to fish for holy power with crusader strikes, then they’ll basically remain the same as now.
However, if they dare to hard cast or use any other of those abilities, then they’ll burn through their mana quite fast.
Oh, and divine protection (20% dmg reduction defensive) costs 350 mana while BoP costs 1500 mana. Divine toll costs 1500 mana. HoJ costs 350 mana. Repentance and Blinding Light both costs 600 mana each. Blessing of Freedom costs 700 mana and Beacon of faith costs 312 mana.
For sh!ts and giggles, flash of light costs 2200 mana (1.5s cast) and light of the martyr costs 700 mana. They’re never really used though, since they don’t heal for anything.
So you can see, they were regenerating quite a lot of the occasional “extra abilities” thrown into that mix of instants with the 2k mana every 5 sec regen. But with 1400, they’ll continuously burn through it, nonstop.
To put it in simpler terms, they’re removing 7200 of the mana regen from hpalas every minute, with a mana cost that’ll always cost more mana than what’s regenerated even with only instants from now on (if you include a mix of all of the instants, that is). Hard casting together with the instants was already burning through the mana, so this will just accelerate it.
A redesign would’ve been much better than this lazy nerf. Make hpalas cast again, damn it!
(-7200 mana per minute in pure regen is taken out of the 24000 mana regen per minute, for the sake of context. So 16800 mana per minute of regen is what hpalas will be left with, which basically won’t recover the mana cost of any abilities other than holy shock and bestow faith.)
Would it be possible to have a list of these hidden template effects? I’m quite sure there are a lot of them still from the start of BfA that have long been forgotten by the players and the devs.

Hpalas won’t be able to play dampening games without drinking from now on, that’s for sure. That includes both 2s and 3s.

So yeah, you either win fast (in all fairness, most games are fast), or you play as a prot pala for the sake of mana. Which is a hilarious state for the game to be in.

unholy dk necrotic should be atleast around 8% so it may have a chance good step but still useless also negate DS and all the nerfs you guys did to unholy in bfa if you realy wana do somthing

Not really. Frost will still be better in everything. Even frost fever does more dmg than virulent plague, also resilience not affecting pets means they can be cleaved down easily.

Blizzard you need to dial down WW & Arms consistent damage. Nerf rets burst damage. Combustion & convoke still need nerfing while buffing the specs overall viability.
Help MW be more balanced.
Help DH’s be more competitive outside the hunt and nerf the hunt

Wouldn’t work in the current meta either I’m afraid. With basically no tools against spammable CC that aren’t incredibly long CDs and a meta where people die in a 4 second interrupt/CC, a paladin that has to hard cast is a paladin that may as well reroll mistweaver since even that would be more viable.
And that’s assuming Flash of Light is worth casting. Which it hasn’t been for a decade now.
This change is terrible though (especially since resto shaman is already the god of mana) and won’t solve much whatsoever. All healers are rubbish and this just brings paladin down to the other’s level and forces paladins to play with comps where they get away with only using Holy Shock / Bestow Faith.

even tho not all mages are playing arcane, they still are definetly more than demo locks since there are like Mgodx, Sosseri that are playing on glad as Demo.
2 of thoose demos are actually aff and destro. But mgodx and sosseri are missing there so we still get on 4 demo locks

5 of the bm hunters listed are actually playing bm, still less than arcane
