In the past all level of PvP players and PvE players had access to best PvP gear. That needs to make a return. Its not right if PvPers spend 90% of their time doing PvE stuff and 10% for the actual PvP.
How does this changed?

No I dont. If I want best gear now I need to go do Mythic raiding and 20+ dungeons which I wont be doing, because it has nothing to do with PvP. And nobody is going to take me magically in their Mythic groups anyway, because I have zero experience about it and Im not going to spent 3 months getting all PvE gear so that I can finally do proper PvP. That is just uber overkill.
There is only gear thats it.
YOu can get gear with stats from pvp same way i do from pve.
And it was like that always.
We start to get 460 weekly from PvP chest after 10 weeks of S4 have passed. Then we can do Solo Visions and might get 470 if we do full clear with all skulls up.
From picking up chest which you can do withotu doing anyhting?
Do rated if you want gear simple as that.
Gearing for PvP with random drops is stupid. And nothing but timesink. Its stupid, horrible and wrong and bad design. But we had it coming since so many people have stopped playing and most of the clueless people cant handle or understand PvP.
Same as from pve i like how it is now.

You need an arena win at that rating to be eligible for a reward weekly. If you’re 1.6k, didn’t enter any arenas for the week and cap your contest through other means, you’ll get the standard 445.
I don’t see how it’s a problem though, it’s just a win / week.

Imagine getting hc raid gear from 5 man dungeon without any challenge at all… IMAGINE.
heroic raids are easier.
Ask yourself what does tank on boss?
Then ask yourself what does tank in m+.
you will pretty fast figure out who does more.

Stun, soft cc, interrupts on cd, stun and cc to interrupt… Tracks party interrupts to see if he has to kick or not, constantly watches position, due to stuff such a sanguine. Ussually only the tank and healer have to deal with most affixes, has to know optimal pulls on different affixes. Has to constantly track aggro cause ussualy one in 6 mobs or so loses aggro to dh burst or something else, have to insta taunt or 1 person dies and it might lead to a wipe.
In hc raids your brain can die.
