Maybe they should just make it so some specs are just not meant for PvP? Maybe it would make sense for them to just make a bunch of specs completely useless in pvp to reduce bloat to give themselves time to figure it out properly. Imagine the bloat augmentation evoker will bring to pvp. I get dizzy already thinking about it.

I don’t think communities or social networks are the answer though. Communities is a bit strange but I haven’t pushed myself to find partners through them so maybe that’s my naivety talking. Same with guilds, I always feel like nobody gonna give me a chance or wanna play 3s so I don’t bother

Why cant they just have a pvp and pve version of every specc?.
Surely, having 2 designs to maintain with balance patchs is easier then this reinventing the wheel every 2 years with a further year of readjusting and reworking.
Your never going to have a design that works in pvp, m+ and raids.
Cull CC? Suddenly m+ dont work.
Cull abilities? Suddenly what was a positive in m+ and raids is loss.
Because they don’t want people to have to relearn their class, if the swap between the 2. That actually only makes the skill floor of wow worse sadly.
Probably the only way is to make one very simple and obvious way to do burst damage the meta pvp build for every spec, so at least the skill floor is reduced for healers.
I dont beleive the designs need to be that different in such to rly make this a issue.
The core designs are fine.
The issue is the additions each game mode require that cause problems in other sections.
Tbh. I imagine, we could see progress providing we dont see another Legion / BFA. Throwing GCDs wildly and deleting 75% of abilities is a sledgehammer solution to a nail.
If they worked on first condensing Cooldowns, so classes hsve a maximum of 2 offensive Cooldowns, then work through condensing some classes CC options downwards, and adjusted m+ along side that to cater to the reduction in avaliable CC.
They could then look from that point.
The fear is blizzard will read this, and we will see classes return to being absolutely barren.
It seems so dead that the wow pvp guide channel called “skill capped” made a new mythic+ guide channel this week. Not sure, if it’s because wowpvp is dead, or because it’s just a good opportunity

Remove the sub fee, make a tutorial mode teaching every aspect of pvp, and improve the ingame Ui.

Make it so pvp doesn’t require sub fee but if you want to step into raids an dungeons you gotta pay, since pvp is already on maintenance mode.
We don’t get enough changes and content as it is with the sub fee

I mean it’s been dying for the past like 10 years or so, though it will never be truly dead, unless Blizz shuts down the servers and even then people will prolly run some private server, but pvp still dies more and more every expac, since it bleeds players and cannot replace the losses fast enough, since almost no one joins the game anymore.
I feel like we are getting into a territory, where it’s starting to become too much of a loss and the game quality deteriorates drastically because of it. Maybe my perception is a bit skewed, due to the MMR issues of this season, but to me it feels like we are at a point, where we need some drastic changes, in order to slow it down a bit.
Idk about that… How many keybinds you got on DH? On ele im currently using 64 binds, not counting for any movement keys, targeting etc., literally only abilities (and pet controls). Sure, that’s only if you want to play at a R1 level, so this is for my spec min/maxed, but isn’t that the goal?
We get nothing already, like what did we get this expac except 1 arena a few world pvp quests and solo queue?

For DH I just got generic [@focus] macros and never have felt like I needed more
Yeah simple class an all that
If people use arena 123 macros for abilities, ofc you’re going to have bloat
Then if you use modifiers ontop of that , rather than having it on your bars , you’ll have even more
