It’s a great fishing spot, Amberjack and Elysian Thade schools there. I pop an Amberjack bait and fish for 30 minutes and make 10k gold while I listen to a podcast. Living the dream!
will have to give what you and @Flickie are saying, all good to get some extra gold and souls
Fishing is very lucrative right now, especially those Amberjacks, get in there while it lasts.
has anyone got the mount from it yet ?
So does anyone already gotten the chance to upgrade it to level 2 and gotten better rewards then the junk rewards from level 1?
welcome to world of borecraft shadowlands, where everything fun will be gated behind at least 4 weeks of grinding and waiting…level 1 things give basically nothing useful on any of the base buildings, need to get at least level 2 before it becomes “fun”
I need to wait 7 days to have a party with the Venthyr…
but at least the party is fun to do and can give cosmetics even at level 1
What do you get from those party’s ? any rewards ?
Tributes from the Guests
The contents of the tribute chests can vary quite greatly depending on how happy or upset the guest was. So much so that a miserable guest will mock you with their tribute!
Happiness is the top factor, a Miserable guest will reward you with nothing no matter what. An Elated guest will reward you with the best rewards they can offer.
Usually something related to the guest or its world (for example the Crypt Keeper gift you a crypt key to open … a crypt in the crypts… Droman Dione rewarded me with a feast
But the “important” thing is the Ember Court Reputation - the cosmetics are tied to that reputation , like the features you can unlock to make better parties
I’m sure the Ember Court is the most complex among the Covenant activities
EDIT: and forgot, the Guest reputation, like the farmer’s reputiation in MoP
I opend up the party thingy and went up to do the intro quest and wtf…
Felt like I played some 4 year old child game or something. Never ever going to do or upgrade that crap again
Sorry you not had fun with it
The intro is simple, thats true, but the actual Court is way “harder”, with several mini event to boost the given aspect, not to mention the chains of quest to open up additional features (at the moment I need 4 different kind of cheese for apetiziers to prolong the court by 2 more minute, more chance to gather happiness for my guests) not to mention the RSVP quests to convince the guests to actually come to your party (and if you have enough soul ruby to switch guests, to harmonize their needs that even better)
But I guess not everyone have fun doing such things
Anyhow, I don’t want to hijack the Queen’s Conservatroy thread with the Ember Court so… back to the shadows
Been eyeballing the Queens Conservatory myself for a casual sidegame. Especially something that is a souped up Tillers farm. Ive seen the words about saving spirits till you can plant them at a higher level farm. So I am thinking its worth it to get rank1 fairly early to enable the drops.
Ive tried Path of Ascension. And I found it quite frustrating in difficulty. Doubly so that you have to grind more ‘tickets’ before you can try again once out of them.
Ember Court? A single scenario weekly and thats it? Not worth my time, and I regret wasting anima on it.
Abomination factory. Underwhelming to say the least. As long you got materials you can make stuff. And superior parts comming from weekly quests. Once youve built everything from the final rank, theres nothing more to be had from it.
Definitely does NOT qualify as a sidegame!
Had heard the QC was a little underwhelming, so it will be the last Anima sink for me.
Command Table Level 1 > Anima Conductor Level 1 (perma Dreamsong Fenn) > Transport Network Level 1 > Anima Conductor Level 2 (New Dailies)
I intend to open Anima Conductor Level 3 next… since that seems to offer the best returns on Anima, QC is at the bottom of the list…other players mileage will vary.
