Quel’dorei High Elves as an Alliance allied race (Part 1)

I’m honestly sickened that you refuse to accept this Elfs identity.

This is the future old man, just because she was born a Void Elf doesn’t mean she’s still one.

She is a High Elf. Bask in the glory of a playable Alliance High Elven Ranger and weep.

i mean why blood elves asked blue eyes? they could use IMAGINATION too? Because even “small” things make a difference. TAG above nameplate is huge difference

No it ain’t. I’m on an RP realm, and I am telling you now, No it ain’t.

I do not RP and its huge difference for me and others.

Also, why should i pretend to be a highelf as void elf if we can have playable real highelves?

I dare you all to create a mecha gnome and call them Vulperas.

Or do you, dare I say it, lack the imagination.

Seriously though, people like me wanted high elves, not these void elves. And yes, I do lack the imagination. I don’t want to pretend these void diddling elves are high elves.

That’s a horrible example. Comparing a Gnome to a fox

When we are all comparing blue eyes Thalassians to eachother.

but he got a point.

You want to be a highelf, and yet you cant because you are void elf.

What about this scenario:

SC all either died in Northrend during pre patch scourge invasion, joined void elves or actually went back to Silvermoon. I mena you can sure they will be irrelevant with zero or very little appearance. So it will not be hard to pretend the factions is dead/dissolved.

I mean seriously, what would you do if Silver Covenant died? a great chunck of them died in Theramore anyway. Do you think Blizzard must keep them alive because you want to someday play as them?

Why? What is it that makes a difference to -you- Don’t say others, it’s you arguing here, what makes it a difference to -you-?

because they can look identical? You are literally asking for an extra Allied race that looks identical to something you can play. Why are you doing that?

Yet they are all alive and they represented in legion very well.

ALSO, they are an example for such as possible faction. There are a lot of highelves elsewhere too.

SInce blizzard pulled void elves out of thin air…why can’t they pull highelves from other places and not SC elves.

Just to be clear I don’t want to be a High elf. I just have this character normal skin to look like Alleria my favorite character.

But at the same time I don’t look any different to a High elf.

The only thing that’s bothering you is the racial name tag which is really silly if you think about it.

Wildhammer dwarves aren’t called Wildhammer, but they have the customization available.

skin tones, hair color options, voice, name tag

I know its a bad example, but that is the point.

The game does not recognize players as high elves, only blood and void, you can say what you want about the lore and the devs saying what ever.

But as long as the game does not recognize players as high elves, this topic will continue. Meaning a name tag, saying that you are one. Its simple yet beautiful,
Void High

Yes look alike like highelf.

And yet you do not look like her.

They have those, as you can see in this thread.

So you -do- want Blood Elf stuff then?

You just said you don’t RP. This should not matter to you.

This literally does not matter. At all.

Let me just ask you these two questions, as we’re going around in circles here and I have stuff to be doing.

If Blizzard announced tomorrow, they would give you an Allied race with the exact same model as the Blood Elves just on Alliance side, with the one single change that it says “High Elf” as a Name tag. Would that make you happy?

Secondly, if they did that, and Horde got an Allied race that was something new and cool and interesting, like Ogres or Gnolls, are you honestly saying that you would be first on the barricades of Alliance indignation posts defending the Horde getting something new, just so you can have a clone copy of a Horde race?

Two simple questions. Just answer them please.

The game doesn’t need to call you “High elf” to be a High elf.

I don’t see Night elf mages complaining about not being called Highborne. They use their imagination.

On RP server there is an addon that you use to change your racial name. And 90% of Role players use this addon.

But honestly I’m done trying to convince you guys. It’s like you listen with one ear and throw it out the other ear.

But before I leave, I want to invite you to the Quel’dorei discord. Hopefully you will see for yourself how High elf fans have accepted the Void elves and created some amazing transmogs to go with the new customization.

Have a nice day!

It matters to me.

highelves such as sc elves. Blood elves got alliance highelf look alike option.

Yes. But not blood elves we want, but highelves that are in alliance. Blood elves got copy paste alliance look alike highelf option.

I do not care about horde. Alliance want highelves.

My Night Elf Mage is a Highborne and she looks perfect as one.
I don’t need the OOC tag to recognise my character being “Highborne” - other RP’ers can see the character in question is a Highborne.

Same as my Void Elf Hunter. She’s a Quel’dorei High Elf Ranger. I don’t needing OOC tag for me to play a High Elf.

No they didn’t. They got the model designed for their playable race. That is simply untrue. If you want the original Alliance High Elf model from Vanilla, you are welcome to it.

You are not telling the truth. Blood Elves did not get a copy paste of anything. They got a new model for the playable race, that you now want. So you did not answer my question.

Given that the model was created for playable Blood Elves, do you want Blood Elves but on Alliance side, with “High Elf” as a name tag, Yes or no?

Right, so it is just selfishness then?

You don’t actually care whether the majority of Alliance players are happy, or what Horde get as an alternative new Allied race, is that what you are saying? Yes or No.

highelves such as silver covenant, not blood elves.

Blood elves are already represented such as void elves.
