Quel’dorei High Elves as an Alliance allied race (Part 1)

I don’t see how undead priests’ case is blurry considering the fact that Alonsus Faol was seen both in the game and novels as an undead priest. Forsaken not being able to use the Light has been retconned through him, that’s all.

But he is the only, ONLY, undead we know of who is a priest in the lore, and basically endures on as a servant of the Light because of his strong faith. We also have that undead paladin guy in Stratholme, but the two of them always seemed like extraordinary exceptions.

Just because I see an Undead using the Light in the class order hall, it doesn’t mean that I am convinced there are numerous Undead priests around in the world using the Light freely without getting hurt by it.

I want more solid information which can set things in stone once and for all, because let’s be honest, the lore has been fleeting and retconned once too often already.

Look, believe what you want at this point. Faol proves that it is possible for undeads to still wield the Light as priests if they keep the faith, do what you want with that information. I’m not a lore dev and could care less honestly

My point was that you chose to play identical race to draenei, and yet you arguing with people who would like to play in your opinion “identical” race like high elves.

You have two identical races, yet you chose “different” one. So people would like to play high elves that are really different from blood elves and void elves, not exactly copies.

Nobody crying. This topic was created in 2016. This is just continued because of other 2 reached max post limit.

Thank you for proving my point: you’ve been moaning about this for six years already, you failed, move on

You’re making little to no sense at this point xD

Yes…of course we have people like you. When someone wants something in the game (Which is also natural to the warcraft world) people like you come into the thread and call them insane and get help and etc etc. Well if its so painful for you why do you click on the thread?

And how is it insane when In most other RPG games, High elves have always been part or the Human, dwarf and elf alliance.

But whatever, what makes your day go forward I quess.

I was talking about all the retcons in the lore, Light and void among them. But we get more info about light and void when this threat comes to azeroth. As it says for the draenai race info that valen is preparing for the war between the light and void.

Oh yeah, people like me just oppressing poor people like you who just want something, like everyone else, that it?

Quit trying to blend in the forum crowds as if you are asking for something reasonable. Aside the fact that it would be the third belf look-a-like, you can already have what you are asking for, 99% but here you are crying that you didn’t get the 1% and how unbearable it is for you to exist without it and you have, what? Three, four guys constantly posting in this thread crying about how unjust it is. Give me a break with your two bit poor no-helf hostility.

And by the way, I don’t mind reminding you of how you sound, if that bothers you, stop boosting the thread and it will all stop.

False. Nobody moaning. And it’s been more then 15 years we been requesting playable high elves.

A lot of sense. It’s okay for you to play exactly same allied race as draenei, yet you not okey for those who would like to play the high elves that are more different then blood elves or void elves then LF draenei vs draenei.

The high elves are the most reasonable request since 2004.

No. End of story.

A nonsensical argument. Utterly irrelevant and moot.

They were only reasonable until the belfs joined the Horde. But you got void elves which have the same model as the belfs. Then they got non-void customization options that make them look like belfs including have the blue eyes and fair skin option. And now you want Blizzard to do that again, just this time call the High Elves? That’s reasonable to you but not to anyone not sharing your obsession.

I get what you mean, but I remember that in the past you were ok with my idea of a High elf sub-race. Which means their name plate would show ‘‘High elf’’, they would most likely be given some Blood elf hairstyles as well, and renamed and re-coloured racials of their own. And they could also be Paladins. The only things you would not have are a separate capital but maybe they could start out in Stormwind or in Dalaran instead of Telogrus.

? You are just hypocrite. It’s okey to play identical race for you, yet it’s not okey to ask playable high elves .

Because they are blood elves , your point?

Not again, this request ongoing since 2004, allow to play high elves such as Silver Covenant.

Yep, my “obsession”

Don’t be so petty. Come on. Act like an adult.

Your argument doesn’t make any sense. How is it that me playing a Lightforged Draenei has any bearing whatsoever?

Can you please explain the relevance or leave it be?

Talk about blowing things way out of proportion.

Btw, never once did I say you could not ask for playable High Elves. I came with suggestions on how Blizz could do it. There’s a difference. Take the time to read properly before you begin hurling accusations.

We all know why you come in here and accuse us high elves fans of all sort of things. You are scared, you are scared that blizzard might finally give us what we been asking for all these years. It is the only reason you go in to these threads calling us insane, Beating the horse bla bla. No!! This how one get things into a game. Might take time. But one should not give up and if it natural and makes sense in a game. However asking for something that is not relevant to the game. Should not be in the game like plasma weapons or spaceships, however there are spaceships in wow yes but they tried to make it more natural to Warcraft that the ship is runned by magic, crystals anything that is relevant to the Warcraft. Like the bikes. for example, that’s modern technology and shouldn’t be in the game, however they made it in a Warcraft fantasy style and its technology. And that’s makes more sense.

And so too does High elves, they more natural to the game of Warcraft than void elves as their magic is foreign to Warcraft and unnatural that it is an invading force. And its magic comes from another galaxy in space. Much like in warhammer, chaos magic there is from another galaxy and chaos came from a different planet by asteroids that hit both in south and north of the planet.

But as it seems you have a big issue with this and so I will not bother to replying to you anymore.

No! You can bark as much as you want, we will still be here until High elves for the alliance will happens (we might be fewer now after void elves release but we still be here). Only then will the thread die out but until then we keep asking for them. (And I know you still be here keeping us company and hounding us).

Hmm possibly, They probably start at level 10 too. Hey maybe that’s what the stables in mage quarter is for :), kidding its probably for something else.

I would be ok with that if they start in Stormwind mage quarter and Vereesa windrunner greets us and invites us to her Silver Covenant and we head to the embassy and we get a HD version of Silver Covenant Tabard. Dalaran well they left that place during mist of pandaria and so did the sunreavers. Unless they been invited back. They were pretty much guests in dalaran in WOTLK since they had to follow the kirin tor councils rules. So was the same for Sunreavers and in Legion only Aethas Sunreaver was invited back not everyone of the Sunreavers and Aethas Sunreaver only came on behalf of himself since the rest of the Sunreavers stabbed him in the back when they were secretly working with Garrosh without his consent.

But yes it would be the simplest for them to start in mage quarter of stormwind if they can not have their own hub city. But then again they do work alot with humans.

Well we see if they listen, and read our suggestions. They do seems to that for 10.0, trying to make 10.0 more traditional expansion. More warcraft lore and such.

Hmm it just hit me, maybe they are going to make changes/update Old Town and there is no room for stables anymore. And in Orgrimmar they maybe going to update Valley of honor to maybe Iron horde area. Maybe, its just a thought.

Scared of what? Another belf model? Not that scary really. But as it stands now, it’s less likeley than ever for you to get your helfs with the velfs being able to look like helfs in everything but name.

And quit acting like you are crusading for some major benefit when your request is… well, not even childish, at some point even kids grow up. It’s moronic.

What? The whole four or five of you? Or is it less?

No it won’t. Cause there’s always gonna be some of you crying for the sake of crying because at this point you have nothing to cry about but here you are. But you are right, if I see your thread plopped up on top of the forums I’ll make sure to remind you how unreasonable and pointless it is. Also I would like to reiterate how cringe your post is. Damn.

I’ve guessed and have been proven right that the high elf fans don’t stop at just wanting an exact blood elf clone, but it extends through to wanting Quel’Thalas and Silvermoon on the Alliance.

I don’t sympathise with such radical ideas. Not when Quel’Thalas hasn’t even been given an update for the Horde players yet.
