I mean it’s a possibility not that It needs to happen I will be happy with only outside combat But that is just my opinion.
The two-faction system sucks, the only people who want to keep it are the weirdo loners who think the Horde is an important part of their real-life identity.
You know the type, with Horde flags in their bedroom and who unironically shout “Fur da Hurd!” at BlizzCon even though it makes every other person cringe…
Blood Elves ruined the Horde aesthetic and the Horde ruined the Blood Elf aesthetic, so that’s obviously a moot point too. They just aren’t a fit for the Horde, they’re jammed in and lose all identity.

Trust me it’s not possible… the fact they even Gave us Normal skin and blue eyes is a blessing because Ian was totally against it.
If you want a pure high elf with no Void magic that will never happen. My suggestion to you would be to play Horde.
Otherwise If you want to “look” like a high elf outside of combat for Rp reasons, then that’s possible, Play a Void elf in Shadowlands.

Sorry, but both factions are just as bad as the other. Both sides of this discussion are guilty of arguing, not listening to each other, waving arms around. Not everyone, but certainly both sides.
I became a much happier player when I realised that the game is not supposed to revolve around my favourite characters and faction, when I looked at the bigger picture and saw it objectively as opposed to showing loyalty to a fictional faction in a video game. My personal preference is Horde, but I enjoy playing Alliance and seeing the stories of Alliance characters.
Moreover, I play Blood Elves because they have my favourite lore, pre-Scourge High Elf lore included, not because they’re Horde but because I enjoy them. I /afk in Orgrimmar instead of Stormwind, so what? I still have playable High Elves ‘cause faction just doesn’t matter in the scheme of things. The vast majority of playable High Elves are Horde so there my main is.

Not really. Blood Elves don’t exist anymore, we killed all of them in TBC.
The race you call “Blood Elves” are actually Horde Elves, a race of skinny pink Orcs that exist to give the Horde a “pretty” race. All their lore is dead and gone with Kael’thas.

And maybe some ear lenght, Blue tattoos and Feather jewelry.

Still can’t get over the fact that 14 years later, Blood Elves are not Alliance.
See now that’s a proper request that could happen.
It’s just a fact. The Blood Elves today don’t share anything with the original Blood Elves or the High Elves except vague aesthetic similarities.
Their lore isn’t the same, their themes aren’t the same, their characters aren’t the same, etc.
Alliance High Elves and Void Elves are the only ones that resemble the ones from WC2 and 3 in any way.
Your headcanon doesn’t constitute to what is factual.
If you want to roleplay - go to those forums.
And the other things would also work tbh give red tattoos to the horde and blue tattoos to the alliance and both of them get feathery tattoos.
The facts are what they are. You can cry about it, if you like, but just like High Elves being added to the Alliance, it won’t change no matter how much you insist.
So if i want to play a night elf a worgen or a dwarf i should ask blizzard to make them horde and not roll one on alliance

You do realize High elves are everywhere on the Alliance side. High elves were even present at the Suramar campaign helping out.
They can be seen at Dalaran, Majority of the mage trainers in Stormwind are High elves, and High elves can also be spotted in Pandaria and Allerian stronghold in Outland.
(Blood) elves are horde since BC, yes.
Even in Mop the isle of thunder I think and Bfa.
Not a majority of mage trainers, but they have been in the game since vanilla. High Elves being in the Alliance has been super consistent, showcased in all the new expansions except possibly Cata and WoD (I haven’t checked but I don’t remember any notable ones. WoD had an Alliance “Blood Elf” with green eyes, though)
Yeah the High elves led by Jaina and Vereesa were fighting with the Blood elves led by Lor’themar. It was a masterpiece storyline that really showed the hatred between these two.
It was mostly because Jaina ordered the Helves in Dalaran to massacre the Blood elves after the bombing of Theramore
Also they had a grudge on the horde for killing their fellow high elves. When they stole the bell.
