But you like the Mecha gnomes? So why would you not want a gnome race for ya self?
The new book establishes her loyalties well enough. She’s literally being chased off of Mount Hyjal by a vengeful Tyrande.
Not really? She’s literally standing next to Valeera, who is also an Alliance character.
Valeera is also not an Alliance character. Are you gonna go for three strikes?
shes not alliance either
She has no side. She stands with the blood elves and with Anduin.
Valeera is also not an Alliance character. Are you gonna go for three strikes?
She is literally loyal to Anduin Wrynn, is part of Alliance quests, and put on the Alliance faction for HotS.
She’s just as much Alliance as Gazlowe is Horde. Constantly favouring one side means you’re no longer neutral.
She certainly leans Alliance due to her loyalties to the Wrynn dynasty but she’s still officially an independent agent that can work for either faction when it suits her.

are you seriously saying that a character who herself says she is not part of the alliance, is as much part of the alliance as a horde leader is part of the horde?

In the Before the storm Anduin asked her to spy on the horde and she said her loyalty was for the house of Wrynn and the allaince.
That doesn’t change her characterization. Thrall didn’t stop being a Horde character when he was World Shamaning in Cataclysm, y’know?
The same thing is true of Calia; unless Blizzard pulls some extremely contrived trash writing, as they are want to do, she’s an Alliance character.
Does this mean the Forsaken will be forcibly switched to Alliance? Definitely.
they are visiting their new allies and genetic brothers? doesnt mean they are turning lol
If you can provide a quote I’d be grateful.
I’m just working on what we see in game here and Valeera’s history as a free agent goes way back.

She’s a Horde character as of this new book. Tyrande wouldn’t chase her, Baine and Thrall off of her mountain if she was on the blue team now would she?

You don’t know Tyrande’s character very well, do you?
Well enough to know that she wouldn’t threaten an ally.
Lilian Voss also mentions during a council meeting in Orgrimmar how she and Calia had to actively avoid Alliance ships on their journey to Orgrimmar.
I don’t know how much clearer it can be.

Valeera nodded her golden head, perching on a chair without
waiting to be asked. “I do,” she said. “I hear it can build kingdoms,
bring them down, and possibly doom the world.”
“All that is true,” Anduin confirmed. He poured them each a cup of
wine and handed one to her. “I’ve never embraced the idea that Horde
and Alliance must always be against each other. And it seems to me
that now, more than ever, we have to have cooperation and trust on
both sides. This new material…” He shook his head. “Far too
dangerous in the hands of any enemy. And the best way to defeat an
enemy is to make them a friend.”
The blood elf sipped her wine. “I serve you, King Anduin. I believe in
you. And I am most certainly your friend and always will be. I would
like to live in this world that you see. But I don’t think it’s possible.”
“Improbable,” Anduin said, “but I do think it’s possible. And you
know better than anyone that I’m not alone in that sentiment.
Hjg
And the book says She was Verians personal spy.
Well enough to know that she wouldn’t threaten an ally.
So you don’t know her at all, because that’s literally something she’s always done. She’s always been difficult to work with, that’s the entire reason for Illidan being released all the way back in WC3.

You can provide the actual text? It wouldn’t surprise me if, as I said, crap writing is used to justify it, but so far she’s an Alliance character.
Lilian Voss remains far more likely as a proper Forsaken leader.
Thanks. I don’t see her offering her loyalty to anyone beyond Anduin however which I don’t think anyone ever contested.
But it certainly makes her more blue than red despite her status as an independent.

“May we ask what detained you?” Lor’themar inquired as the ladies were seated.
“Our people can’t stay in Orgrimmar forever,” Lilian replied, at last finding her tongue. Once she had sat down and unburdened herself of her pack, she appeared more at ease. Her blue eyes flashed brighter as she straightened her back and removed her leather cloak. “It’s too hot. We prefer the shadows and the damp. Perhaps in time the ruins of Lordaeron can be reclaimed and our home there restored. Things are a little less heated with the armistice, but that doesn’t mean Alliance ships are happy to see our flags at sea.”
Across from them, sharpening a knife beside the trade prince, the Darkspear troll Rokhan hissed and leaped to his feet. His tusks gleamed as readily as his dagger. “They give you trouble?”
“We took the long way ’round,” Lilian rasped. “Added a few days to our journey.”
“Better to be careful in these tense times,” Calia added softly. “Lest we cause a diplomatic incident.” Then she shrugged, weary, and removed her sun-faded blue shawl, folding it neatly. “I am sure if we were intercepted, Derek Proudmoore could intervene on our—”

So yeah, not only Calia but the deceased Crown Prince of Kul Tiras is Horde too. I don’t like these developments any more than you do apparently but that is where we are.
Lilian Voss remains far more likely as a proper Forsaken leader.
Agreed. Most Undead players here on the forums seem to hate Calia. I can’t see her becoming leader.
But her becoming Horde is a high possibility. Due to the Shadowlands spoilers.
Also I made this thread if anyone is interested. It’s for the customization in Shadowland, basically what everyone is asking for so far.
Thanks. I don’t see her offering her loyalty to anyone beyond Anduin however which I don’t think anyone ever contested.
But it certainly makes her more blue than red despite her status as an independent.
I mean even if she has her loyalty to Anduin that means she is her Loyalty to the alliance because he is their king.
So… The Forsaken ships avoided Alliance ships, just in case.
Calia having nothing to do with it, and explicitly expressing that she thinks she and Derek Proudmoore could just talk to the Alliance to sort it out. That doesn’t really support your assertion.
The text below that you didn’t include does make me sad though, making Rokhan out to be some dumb Orc brute instead of a cunning Darkspear Shadow Hunter…
“Me no undastand diplomasy! ONLY SMASH! Hurr!”
