So you agree that asking draenei for horde is utterly illogical and has no basis right? Thanks and don’t do that again.
exactly, bring highelves!
Good Luck!
i hope highelves will happen in future.
But for now toy would be nice. Like orb on Quel’dorei, you transform into a highelf for 30min. 15 min CD.
We have so many elves already. I want something different for a change.
For example I think Vrykul fits the Alliance theme very well. They would make a lovely addition and a lot of people would faction change to play one of these. And if Vrykul are too humanlike for your taste, there’s plenty of other cool looking Scourge.
They even have the perfect opportunity with the Scourge free from Lich King’s grasp.
There are plenty cool races. Naga, Ethereals, Centaurs, Arrakoa, Dragonspawn (!) etc.
My favorite would be Murlocs!

Edit: Actually now that I think about it, we need something more beastlike. Definitely not something humanlike and not something cute. The Naga could close that gap while fitting nicely in the lore. I mean they did team up with Illidan in WC3.
Edit 2: Don’t want to ruin the show for the people who want High Elves. I mean the Void Elves with the new customization options come pretty close to High Elves. Maybe both - High Elves and Void Elves - could unite under the Banner of the Alliance? This way we could have real High Elves while freeing up a race slot for something different?
Edit 3: Murlocs could be a neutral race, like the Pandaren, free to join both sides.
Well not sure why they went with void elves instead of high elves which is what players wanted. Void elves lore sucks as well … would have been better to simply have Alleria lead the high elves. Meh they butchered everything lore wise anyways so can’t expect anything different.
I understand the appeal of High elves, there are many of these NPC’s everywhere including High elf Buildings. And they seem to be relevant each expansion.
These are the number of high elf NPC’s I saw around Azeroth, which total approximately : 232, but there could be more I still Haven’t seen.

However, High elves as it’s own race will never happen. The train passed when blizzard introduced Void elves. So instead of asking for High elves, just use the new customization for the Void elves.
No blonde and silver hair and no paladin so no high elf for me.
That can easily be added in the future, when they start focusing on Allied races.
Duh… Void and light don’t mix
or they can let us play highelves and you play your void elves?
If life was that easy we would all get what we wanted, but it’s not.
So as a High elf fan, I’m going to use the normal skin void elves
Its a bit of a weird take on it that people view this as a sticking point, I mean I personally don’t mind Void Elves getting more of the ‘normal’ hair colours but you have to admit, it is a bit weird people insisting on blonde hair, its like, well, no, I won’t say it, but it is weird.
Why? Why do people have this bizarre idea that High Elves were massively into Paladins, like they were some sort of Iconic thing for the race
They were Not. They never were. There were a handful in game. There are also High Elf Warlocks, but I don’t see people clamouring for those as if they were part of the racial ethos…
Why? Because like Paladins they were -Not- part of the racial ethos.
The High Elves were famed for their Mages and Rangers.
The Species never deployed Paladins en masse until oh, yeah, they renamed themselves Blood Elves.
Paladins are not an iconic part of the High Elf lore, and it baffles me why people think they were!
Thank you for saying this! I’m glad someone understands. High elves are mostly known for Mages and Rangers (Hunters), not Paladins.
quess what , ill be using too, but toy would be nice compromise at least for now
…your character is blond as well. I think everyone just want to play the classic Legolas-fantasy in their faction.
Yeah, because I am -playing- the dominant strain of the species that is the core of the race, not because I want to buddy up with humans and dwarves and play Legolas, I’m quite happy with being a suave monster. Like 90% of the High Elves are these days!
You already getting more skintones on void elfs. They are helfs like belfs too… you aint getting other thalassian race lol
everything possible in the future…
and toy to transform into highelf would be very nice.
Toy? Why? There is already one orb of the sindorei.
Just add high elf choice instead of void elf. They can start in human zone at lvl 1
