i know so many people that managed to get to lv 10-20 and just quit all together, levelling in wow has always been trash but classic is just ‘‘UHHHHHGG’’
I literally can’t think of a game with a better levelling experience.
I can - wotlk with RDF in it aka pretty much every pirate wotlk server xD
and with rate xp x2
I did wrmane recently to learn DK and I didn’t think the experience was that great. Joyous Journeys flowed better and for Northrend; this could be the last time I do this.
I really shouldn’t play WoW forever.
I currently play there & its miles ahead than blizzard … they have RDF and transmog
But blizzard seem to never learn
I remenber that when wotlk was launched most of the people with sunwell gear couldnt do that easy uk… look what they did to wotlk classic
No way bro.
Well we have 3.3.5 abilities, and the 3.0 balance was a little different. Lot of classes was buffed hard during wotlk, while some actually nerfed.
Admittedly, I agree that Wrath levelling is pretty boring and sometimes tedious (looking at you Zul’Drak). As someone already said, there’s too much XP needed to level. It probably averages around 1.5 million per level, and average quest reward XP is around 20k. It’s a lot better with XP increasing Heirlooms, but I have no desire to level any of my alts for a good while yet.

Yes, questing are borring. And there are only 1 thing that makes it boring - xp from quest.
U ger 20k xp on lvl 70 and u get 20k xp on lvl 78.
Yes, the difference between needed xp for level up are not so huge to, but, u feel no profession. U steel need like 100+ quests for lvl up.
After questing through Northrend I realized how bad WotLK questing was. Honestly, it’s terrible and way worse than questing in TBC. While some zones are great, others do suck a lot. Plus, the gating of quests is terrible. Yesterday I got sent 10 times to the exact same place (Dun Argol) to always just do one quest. Back and forth. It was a horrible experience.
Questing isn’t boring, it’s just too worn out in WotLK. Too much XP required while quests give little.
It doesnt matter.
If its too easy people complain.
If its too hard people complain.
If its too short people complain.
If its too long people will complain.
Just play the freaking game, dont wait for a change to any major systems because there wont be one.
It kind of felt like this until I reached Storm Peaks and Icecrown. I focussed a lot on zones I enjoyed as a kid i.e. Grizzly Hills, Howling Fjord. borean Tundra etc. But I forgot how much fun Storm Peaks and Icecrown were, especially Icecrown where quest design became really interesting and fun, and it felt like you were actually fighting the Scourge. Some quests also change the zone and certain “safe hubs”. I’m glad I get to 80 today as I really wanna focus on end-game unlike vanilla wrath where I didn’t have much of a clue what to do, but now that I do, I came to appreciate Icecrown as a leveling experience much more.
Agree
Blizzard was right…
All the vehicle and special abilities quests just sucks.
just go back and play your dark iron dwarf please.
And this is why Blizzard should not make the same mistake to listen to those whiners and complainers but instead should follow their own path.
Not implementing RDF was a really good decision.
